I normally do not post here to often but this correction by far was the biggest and best one I have done. Also first going for a swirl free finish on a black car.

I saw this car in a parking lot and put my car on the handle and that night I had a call.

Washing was 2BM with Megs Gold Class and dome Dawn

Rims where done with Eagle One all wheel and Tire "the environmental friendly one" I have found it works very well and I got it cheap through my work at O'Reillys. Used my lug nut brush and my Datona brush for barrels

Tires and lower portions of the car were spray with purple power (love this stuff)

For paint corrections used Meguairs medium clay
Used my GG6 typically on speed 5
Compound was M105 - Im getting better at using the M105 but still dusts so bad
Polish was M205

Then washed again to get all the dust and oils off

Then sealed with Wolfgang Estate Wax
On to the PICTURES!!!Im the MAN

As the car arrived to me!

After Correction!

Sun shot!!!

Swirls on the trunk

Corrected

Over all the car came out great there were a lot of rock chips and RIDS some of the swirls on the bumpers would not come out. I now have a customer who wants to get washes every two weeks instead of taking it to the swirl O matic:nomore: Had a lot of fun probably took me about 10-12 hours on the car just taking my time and enjoying the paint. Also did a quick job on the interior. Going the little extra mile for someone will yield you a lot more money in the long run.

I've been really thinking about trying the M105 and M205.

The car looks good, is the owner "really" going to take care of it? Lol

Yes he canceled his year membership to the Automatic car wash and is going to have me wash it every two weeks for him.

There are better compounds to use than M105 IMO... I am growing quite fond of FG400 for example.

The best way I have found to use M105 is to first prime a MF cutting pad with D300, then use a mixture of M105 and D300 on the pad for cutting. This greatly increases working time and minimizes dusting.

Wait you said it was a Jaguar?? I just can't seem to tell the difference between a Jag and a Ford Taurus..

Haha I know, I was explaining that to my girlfriend. As we were driving I showed her a Hyundai and told her to remember the car and I showed her the Jag and shes like ummm there is no difference, yup poor mans Jag but none the less nicer! Now that is lol.

Great business savy:dblthumb2:
The income generated over 1 year from maint. packages, may just astound you. Not to mention the referrals.

Thats where I really want to get with my business is get people on maint. packages. Once you detail something it is a breeze to keep clean. Don't get me wrong I love big jobs but If I can do quick washes $$$$$ Yes please.
Thank you

Do you guys think it would be a good business idea for him to show the owner waterless wash? Just wondering if i should start showing my clients this method?

Looks GREAT!!

What color pads did you use?
I used the Orange CCS with the M105 and the White CCS with the 205. I am however going to look into a different compound just for fun this damn 105 rocks but I get dusted out lol.

You show them a method then they will do it themselves and not pay you to do it.. so I do not think it would be a smart choice. I give my customers tips to keep the dash clean in-between times I am not there to clean it but that it is. I feel we are like Magician's of paint... I never want to reveal my tricks.
