Hi all,

I decided to put up a website to do some mobile detailing on the side. Nothing too fancy (Being a web developer) I could easly make it super flashy, but decided simple is best. To make it easy for people to find what they want, and to see if this part time gig can work out. So any feedback or ideas would be greatly appreciated. (Keep in mind the prices are in CAD $ incase you freak and think it's too expensive ! LOL) PurdyDetail ? Mobile Automotive Detailing Services

(Note: I'm currently working on a logo )

Thanks!

The vehicle was heavily contaminated, after removing years of grim. The metal flake in the paint was restored giving an amazing shine and pop

More later. Going out now.

Front page looks good.

Simple is good. In your banner ad Interior Detailing is misspelled. Glad you mentioned Canadian dollars because I thought I'm way under charging people, lol.

Didn't notice but I've always felt letting people know prices are estimates and a quote will be given based on service and condition of the vehicle.

I'm not sure the average person knows what decontamination and glazes are. Also maybe post what swirls and spider webs look like because they don't know what they don't know

Overall I like the sits. Nice work.

Thanks for feedback thus far.

haha on Canadian dollars. I looked around most places charge around $300-400 for a interior/exterior job. So I figure this is a reasonable price point, but I may be a little on the high side. See how it goes. It's always easier to lower prices than it is to raise them. :)

I figure a glaze will be a quick up-sell if a customer doesn't want to invest in a polish. Do you think I should remove that page? I know most people will probably never be looking for this service so maybe the page is pointless? I will probably be putting in an AIO at some point as another option.

I'd keep it simple. remove the glaze. Personally I'm not a fan of them but customers don't have a clue. Most assume when paying for a car wash and wax that the interior will be cleaned along with the tires wheel wells and door jams. After all that what the $20 car wash does on the corner! Anything your website does to educate customers as to the difference between professional detailing and running their care through the auto car wash every week or two will help your cause.

Again keep it simple.

I'd also show another headlight restoration o replace the existing one. Disclaimers on this service are important.

Here in the USA most figure their prices based on hourly rate of $30-50 per hour just realize 90% of drivers out there are unaware of above surface contaminants, swirls, spider marke, holograms etc. They are happy with no mud on the car.

We vacuum and clean the interior of you vehicle. "you're"
Our go to product has no Oder and leaves no residue. So you will not have any harsh chemical smells coming from your vehicle. "should probably be one sentence".

These surfaces will be protected for up to 3 months. "do you really want to make that guarantee?"

This could be a really long post. I suggest you get the "Grammarly" app and let it scan each page. You have a lot of incomplete sentences and unnecessary periods and punctuations.

It would be "your vehicle" not "you're" actually. cause you're is "you are", but thanks for pointing that out. :)
I will look everything over again.

Edit, that app is cool!

I paid a fiverr to review all my stuff and you would be surprised with what they come back with and how it can improve your site for as little as 5 bucks

It looks good. Easy to navigate. Clear. Easy to read. Nice job!

Clean-looking website. I only read the first page, suggest one slight modification. You write

"If you would like your vehicle detailed please contact us so we can arrange an appropriate time. Please note because we are mobile. You will need to provide access to a hose outlet and electrical plug."

I would suggest minor modifications:

"If you would like your vehicle detailed, please contact us so we can arrange a time and location convenient for you. We are mobile. All we need is access to a water hose outlet and electrical plug."

FWIW.

Looks good as mentioned above, but maybe a little overpriced on some packages. But try and see if you can get the money for your skills and talent and personality good luck wish you the best.

Nice, clean, straightforward....'door jams' should be 'door jambs'

Thanks everyone for the feedback. Super appreciated :)
