hello fellow geeks.
I've been a super long time lurker and I finally decided to join. I first found out about autogeek when I got (leased) my new Pilot in 2010. I read lots and lots and never had the need to ask "what wax should I use" because the search function is very useful. I read all the posts up until about a year ago and got lazy and quit washing as frequently. My motivation got restarted when I got my newest Pilot last month. It's color is dark amber metallic. It's basically a dark metallic that I think changes from dark brown to very dark gray almost black. I had them not wash the vehicle when I took it home but the damage was already done. It has swirl marks from being washed in the swirl-o-matic for a couple months.#
I don't have a DA but I have a friend who has talked to me about splitting the cost of one plus all the pads and products for it, we'll see how that turns out. Just wanted to say a quick hi and introduce myself. We also buy stuff by the gallon and split that. That has made a huge savings in spending.
If I was using my real name Meghan would probably recognize me since I email her all the time when I mess something up or ask for something special. This is a very helpful place and the customer service is top notch! Even if I could get stuff cheaper locally (which is a crazy idea) I'd much rather deal with the awesome folks at autogeek!
