Klasse High Gloss Sealant Glaze?

Congrats on the purchase of Klasse SG, or KSG as I like to refer to it as. Here's a simple way to properly use KSG for best results for application and removal:

-get yourself a bowl and add some water in it.

-I prefer a square cotton applicator, foam seems to not slide across the paint as well.

-find a small spray bottle, like 4 oz or so.

-dunk the applicator into the bowl of water, then pour some KSG into your small spray bottle.

-wring out the cotton applicator, making sure its damp but NOT dripping wet.

-depending upon the size of the panel and/or section your working on 1-2 sprays is more than enough. Wipe the KSG in from left to right, up and down, work it in real good.

-WIPE OFF RIGHT AWAY! This product is acylic, NO need for it to set up, anyone who says you leave it on the car does NOT know how to use it.

-Keep the applicator damp, it makes spreading KSG alot easier, easier is key when using KSG.

-DO NOT USE ON GLASS, its VERY hard to remove for some reason.

-Once your done the car will look great but the key is a 2nd coat, that needs to be applied 12 hrs later as KSG is acrylic it needs time to cure, 12 hrs is the shortest amount of time, the 2nd coat really makes the paint pop:props:

To help maintain inbetween coats of KSG I like to make up a gallon of quick detailer using rinseless wash, adding 2 oz's of KSG into a made up gallon. This not only makes clean ups easier but you also end up adding another layer of KSG, albeit a thin layer for sure.

I know you have posted a lot about Klasse SG and I have looked through about 4 or 5 pages of search results but can't find what I'm looking for. What is your preferred method for applying KAIO?

Same as KSG, damp cotton applicator, small amount and work in, wipe off right away. Keeping the app damp makes spreading easier and thus keeps you from using too much but if you do that with KAIO is comes off waaaaay easier than KSG.

2nd coat makes a huge difference, I have not made up the QD yet, but maybe I will after my Sonus Spritz runs out.

I second the motion that the second coat makes a VERY HUGE
difference...got the second coat of KSG yesterday and my
obsidian black Lexus looks like a JEWEL!!:buffing:

Glad to see more and more people finding/using/liking KSG!

My silver Titan looks great! I followed Klasse's tip and it worked like charm and a time saver too.
I also made some Frankendetailer.

I'm glad you've had great sucess Steve, KSG is a secret around here, for the most part and its really too bad. As far as "FrankenDetailer" goes keep in mind its going to work more like a spray wax than a QD. My current ratio has 2 oz of KSG in it and you have to spray it on, wipe it in and buff off, so lots of flipping of the towel. In the case of using DG rinseless to make a gallon your going to want to use 8 oz in a gallon jug, then 2 oz of KSG and then top off with water. Also its very important to shake the bottle so the KSG mixes around the bottle. Now if you want to you can use more than 8 oz of rinseless product but in the case of DG's rinseless I've found this to be better and I feel its because DG's rinseless has AW infused into it.

I found this statement rather interesting...not that I disagree.

I have a bottle of KSG that is roughly 9-years old at this time. On the back of the bottle, it specifically tells you to apply SG to the entire car first and then buff it out. That's the way I've done it that entire time, until I started reading advice here. Most of the time, buffing it out wasn't too bad and I always had some Spritz to make things easier. However, if the weather was above 85 or below 70 and the humidity was high, I had a rough time buffing it out.

When I first used KSG I was given the tips about how to use it by the place I used to buy it from and never looked back. I'm sure it says what you say it says DesertMate but I would never think of doing that method though. That said, if it works for you do it but for the better part of 10 years this what I've done with GREAT success!

Honestly, it worked OK, but not great. I only made the comment, because the consensus with the product follows your recommendation of immediate removal. However, the manufacturer says otherwise and it's their method that makes the product more difficult to use. A little ironic in my mind.

When I use SG again this fall, I'm going to use your method. It will probably save me a lot of time and frustration

No problem but as before, its that 2nd coat that really makes KSG shine, pardon the pun, LOL!

You are ABSOLUTELY correct about the SECOND coat of
KSG ... Just got my second coat on Saturday and it's unbelievable! Blows my mind!:buffing:

Glad to see KSG rising from the grave, what's old is now new again!

The klasse twins are great. I had 2 coats of ksg on my silver car and it looked great. I had it on the car for 7 months and it could have easily gone another 2-3 months. It helped that Southern California had a dry fall/winter. I also maintained it with sonus acrylic spritz and glanz.

Klasse Act thanks for the tip on how to apply and remove KSG.

I have been using the twins since April 2014 with my Forum Favorite purchase from AGO.

I had an empty 4oz bottle that had Meguiars ultimate wax from a clay kit it worked great with your instructions.

Thanks

I've been searching for days for a proper method, or maybe just clear method, of application for KSG and I definitely found it in this thread. I received my first bottle of KSG today, and now I'm not so worried about how it will turn out. Thanks Klasse Act!

In the Klasse kit that just arrived, the instructions mention doing a machine application for both the AIO, and the glaze.
The Porter Cable would save time, but it it easier to get good results by hand or machine?Feed back please

Did the Z4 with the Klasse kit today! I used a white pad on a PC to do the AIO, which worked pretty good. When I started, I was using too much product, even though I was pretty stingy putting it on the pad. Putting a little pressure on the pc would help speed up the process when I did use too much product.
I started applying the sealant on the trunk with a red pad. What a mess! I did the rest of the car with a foam pad by hand. Even though I was aware that a little is all you need, I still used too much. Removal was not easy! Damp microfiber to remove the sealant all the way around.
I going to apply a second coat in a couple of days. I definetly use less sealant!

HGSG is not the easiest to work with. Some people put it in a spray bottle to get a more even application.

I find its easier to apply the AIO with a DA, but the sealant is much easier to apply by hand. I use a Lake Country Flat blue pad with the AIO, mostly because I have it.

Would this product work for the wheels? The ones that aluminium and have a clear coat.
