Labocosmetica 2ph system...Alkaline & ACIDIC, questions

The only Labo product I tried was Primus 2.0. I loved it. Smelled great, cleaned well in both bucket and as a pre-wash. Love that it's very safe too.

I'm out of Reset and only have Descale on hand and Ech20. I'm considering jumping to something else. Can Coat has fallen off the last few weeks.

I've thought about trying some Adam's or Labo products this time. Just to change things up a bit. Not sure I will.

If I went the Labo route I'd get Primus 2.0 which would cover bucket and pre-wash. I'd then get an acidic wash and Idrosave. I could clean car then use Idrosave as a QD/drying aid and be good to go and always have protection.

Other products I've considered are Collinte Beadcoat and the Adam's Graphene Spray.
If you like primus 2.0 then you will like purifica. Very adaptable as far as dilution raitos and such. No worrys of staining or anything like you do with descale

I have Primus 1.0, Semper and I believe Purifica. For what i thought they were, I wasn't impressed, but how they're supposed to be used, I think I'll visit them again.

I think i made the mistake of using Primus and Purifica as a touchless then followed by Semper for the contact. When I went to do the Semper, I was still finding quite a bit of dirt on the vehicle for what little there was to begin with.

Just arrived today, also received an extra spray bottle from them

I'm looking forward to trying the alkaline product as soon as we get a warmer day here, like 35-40 degrees. I think I'm going to try a ratio somewhere in the middle, I don't think I'll need the strongest and initially I'll pair it with something other than Feynlab RW v3 because I wanna see what this product can do on its own w/o a super strong cleaner, probably the last bit of Gyeon Q2 ECO wash and go from there

Suggestions on ratios for pre-treat are welcome by those who've used it, thank you

Once you compete the exterior 2ph systems, you know you'll be onto their interior 2ph

What's the current opinion of Primus 2.0? Still seems like the most versatile pre-wash in that it can be used as a bucket shampoo.

^^^^
Also how does it compare to BH Touchless?
I think one of the things that Labo touts is that their products have VDA certification, to be safe on sensitive surfaces. I don't recall any other detailing chemical manufacturer even mentioning this. Whether that actually makes any difference or not, who knows.

I ordered more Primus 2.0 and some Idrosave, which I have not tried yet.

Primus 2.0 for pre-wash, wheels and bucket wash. Follow up with Idrosave.

Without looking it up explain to me what Primus 2.0 is exactly from how you've used it

I don't know if this was a test for CleanIT, but the Labo description for Primus 2.0 is "alkaline foam prewash" and "The first pre-wash in the detailing world to obtain VDA Certification"

I used it before as my pre-wash, and bucket wash. Worked great, no issues. I can't remember the dilution ratios. I think I used it 1:20 as pre-wash, and 1:100 in bucket. I like shampoos that are a bit stronger than your average pH neutral shampoo. Primus 2.0 I believe has a pH of 10.5 out of the bottle.

One product that can eliminate BH Touchless and a shampoo. Will also use it for wheels. I figured I'd use Idrosave as a drying aid/QD. 1:50 is the QD ratio.

Forensic Detailing channel also found that Idrosave had the best scratching resistance of the rinseless washes.

They added lubrication to Primus 2.0 to make it a dual function product which I think is awesome.

So once your Touchless is used up your going this route I take it? It melts winter muck/salt the same or better than Bilt-Hamber Touchless or Auto-foam

I've got a large amount of my gallon of Bilt-Hamber Touchless and a fresh gallon of Griot's Garage Foaming Surface Prep in my arsenal for pre-wash and Touchless use, kinda hard to buy this right now, even for me

I'm glad Labocosmetica products are kicking so much a$$ right now, love, love, love Idrosave and looking forward to trying these pre-wash RW's, might come as soon as Thursday as it's going to be almost 40 Thursday & Friday

I'm going to try this going forward. I still have a gallon of Touch-Less I will use. My goal is to keep it pretty simple. I love trying new products, but I'm not one to keep a big inventory. Some of that is because I don't like clutter but also I tend to try new things all the time.

The versatility, cleaning power and safety of Primus 2.0 is what sold me on it. One product I can use for pre-wash, wash and wheels. I'll use Idro as my QD at 1:50.

Well I had NINE bird bombs on the EN once I got off of work today...oh yeah it's 19 degrees and a little windy

Once I got home I grabbed the bottle of Alkaline pre-mixed @10:1 w/distilled water and after one spray it either started to liquidfy and turn green and start running or did so after about 5 seconds, problem with the 5 seconds was the Wipe off...it was frozen but I still got them off w/o a problem, first test of this was

Only tried Primus in 3ph. Cant compare to touch less. I will still say if using a pressure washer Bilt Hamber AutoFoam is superior for my situation.

When you say "Primus in 3pH", what does that mean exactly

This guy isn't happy with Idrosave in terms of SDS and chemicals.

What about Primus 2.0? That has a pH of 11.
