Lake Country polishing machine?????

Interesting. They call it a revolution. Hopefully it's not another 21 mm Chinese made machine. It would be cool if they did actually have something completely new.

"Chinese made" has two sides. They are perfectly capable of manufacturing excellent products. (iPhone)

On the other hand, they can churn out complete garbage that you routinely find at Walmart.

It all depends on what the company that contracts with them wants to pay.

I agree. I have a G21. I also buy some items from HF. It's just that 21mm Chinese made machines are one of the most common machines out there.

it kinda has the outline of the Meguiars DA,,hard to tell really,,guess we will have wait 9 more days to find for sure.:buffing:

Will be interesting to see if AG carries it.

Totally new concept. Saw the working model at the recent Autogeek Roadshow Class.

Hoping to get a unit here at Autogeek as soon as one is available to make a video and then buff out a few cool cars and then write a review.

Very cool idea.

For the last 2 years they did research at all our Detailing classes (3-day classes here, roadshow classes and our boat classes) to gather data on all the popular tools. I found the results of their research to be very interesting and insightful.

Awesome! Looking forward to it! I had a feeling that LC would do something cool, especially with all their experience with multiple types of polishers thru the years.

For anyone interested in tools for our industry, Lake Country has a countdown clock on the link Jim aka Dr. Olds shared...

I think this coincides with the first day of Automechanika in Germany.

My observations over the years are guys tend to be most excited and most interested when any of the three below things are introduced,

1: New car wax - remember Lab Sample D
(now days this would be a new ceramic paint coating)

2: New compound - remember M105

And....

3: NEW TOOLS!!!!

—> in other words NEW POLISHERS!!!!

For those going to SEMA this year, this will be the biggest new thing introduced in the Car Detailing industry.

If we’re lucky - maybe we will have one for our September 3-day class coming up at the end of this month.

Andre told me there’s only a few more spaces left for this class and it’s sold out.

Hoping it’s a DA that is less prone to stalling that most DA’s on the market ....

This has me intrigued for sure.

Exciting & disheartening all at once - exciting for the innovation & evolution of the detailing industry & being that whomever is contracted to make the tools is working for a very reputable company & one I hold in high regard, & in saying that - I believe the quality will be there & the good folks at Lake Country Manufacturing will stand by their product. :dblthumb2:

Disheartening because its unlikely to make its way this far South or be available as a 240v machine for some time . . . or will it???

Looking forward to the release . . . Congratulations Lake Country Manufacturing. :props:

Gonna throw down a crisp George Washington that a 42mm polisher is incoming big old 10” HDO pads, we’re gonna be polishing out entire hoods at once.

Let the revolution begin.

Since it's released at a car detailing show in Germany. They have the 240v outlets as standard. So would be very weird if they only would make it 110v. Think you can be somewhat sure it's released in both 110v and 240v versions :)

I think you're 100% right there Tony & to be fair - when I was talking with Bob Eichelburg from Flex North America at Detail Fest the general consensus on when New Zealand may see the Cordless Flex Tools it was late this year, early next. The XFE shall be here within the week . . . the PE, still awaiting an arrival date.

What are you in Sweden Tony? 110v or 240v?

The more I am reading the more interested I become as I have been shopping for awhile for a different orbital.

what I would like to do is buy one of each,Rupes,Flex,GG etc etc but my wife would ring my neck.

This is a completely new polisher from the ground up, and has a patented feature no other machine on the market has. I can assure you this is not a knock off of anything. Stay tuned!

Thank you Jason! Nice to see a LC rep on the forums!! Looking forward to this “revolution” :props:
