In my other post about applying Lava I mentioned applying it by hand, but after reading Flannigan's comment about using a PC, I have now tried that.
This is the way to go. Lava is easily dipped from the jar (I just used my fingers) and thinly spread on a flat 5.5" red LC pad. I used speed 3 and it easily went on. The PC is faster, no grabby feel, and helps keep it thin as well. I waited 20 minutes (passed swipe test) and it came off pretty easily.
Anyway, for those getting ready to use Lava, you might want to consider the PC. I often use the PC for liquids and will do so with Lava. Thanks Flannigan.
Also, the slickness seems to fade as the product cures. So, after 12 hrs., instead of using CG's HV7 (whick works well), I did a wipe down with BF Poly Spray and it amped up the slickness nicely.
Looking forward to others comments once they use Lava.
