Decided to try out some leather rejuvenation with a 1988 Benz. It has approximately 120k miles on it and no cuts or tears in the leather.

I was pretty stoked with the results. I cleaned the seats real good, degreased them, and used a sponge to apply the new dye that I purchased to ensure color match.

This looks great. Looks new again. It’s giving me ideas ;).

I am in the process of doing a redye on my truck seats. Hand sanitizer ate the finish off of the leather. I bought the dye from Leather World Technologies and the color match was very impressive. The part of the seats that were worn from normal wear were filled in nicely. The spot from the hand sanitizer needs more work. I will post some pictures when the process is complete.
Hey Red, your seats came out perfectly. Did you finish them off with some type of coating? I was thinking of using Gyeon Q2 Leathershield.

Actually this is before I conditioned. But I did finish with some grits conditioner that really evened them out.

I did a lot of light coats. I used some filler on a bad cut and it took a lot of coats to darker but it did get there eventually.
