So this weekend's detail was a tall order, Literally. I'm by no means tall but even on a 3ft ladder I barely reached the center of the roof 😅 This beauty is owned by a friend of mine in our local racing group. It's a really nice 2016 Dodge RAM 2500 in Granite Crystal Metallic Clear coat that sits on some aftermarket wheels he just couldn't say no to given the price and the fact that the rubber was brand new too. It has just under 100k miles and was in need of a good clean up, paint correction and given the size, a ceramic coating so as to make much shorter work of day-forward cleanings. I don't normally go on-site to do details but I've known Rocky for over 10yrs and given the truck won't fit in my garage and the fact that my entire garage could fit inside his, it just made sense to work it out so the on-site could happen. Basic Polish & Protect over most of the vehicle but I did have to compound and polish a few panels to help fix some cars wash damage and scratches from it's previous life. Car is now protected with ceramic on paint and wheels and the trim. Some trim was also restored from a slight fading condition.

As per the usual, polished with a pair of flex polishers and a Rupes iBrid Nano using CarPro Products. Mainly Essence but also some UltraCut where needed. CarPro SiC and GYEON Q2 RIM along with some CarPro dLux were used here.

What product did you use on the tonneau cover?

Looks amazing! Is that really a gasser? A 2500 Dodge without a Cummins is like going to a steakhouse and only ordering a salad. hahaha

Yep. He wanted the 6.4l

Bad ass! Granite Crystal shines up so well, and this one looks like new paint. The hood shot is ridiculous.

Awesome work!

I think many folks ( mainly younger kids) buy diesels for no other reason than they think its cool....wrong folks, they do serve a purpose lol. Same as the rice burners used to be the cool thing for some...never me though lol. And lest not forget the folks who drive a 1500 crew cab with a mini bed....gotta haul them groceries!

Looks like you could dive into that hood!! (If you could get a tall enough ladder........)

Awesome work!!

They may be the first to rust out but my God the paint they use has to have the most metal flake in it!
