I have only encountered streaking from products, be it QD's or RWs, when they are used too wet or the MF becomes loaded with product and dirt. If conditions are warm and arid I would think that a QD would streak from not staying wet long enough to wipe off. This may be why diluting with water helps. Some finishes that are sealed may run into streaking due to the sealant repelling the QD and not absorbing into the pores like soft finishes allow. Less is more in my opinion, using as fine a mist as you can may help in these situation so you have a more consistent layer of product, and usually not too much.
My fav QD is 303's Speed Detailer. right before it came out I was wondering why 303 didn't have a paint care product like a QD. Little did I know they were about to release one. It is a great product to clean, shine, and protect in the 303 fashion. I wish I could buy it by the gallon and/or concentrate.
