Please help me understand the different qualities of Natty's Red, Blue, Paste and liquid blue waxes so when the discussion says the Natty's Liquid Blue has Natty's red qualities, I can understand what they mean?
For perspective:
- Currently own white and champagne beige BMWs and live in SoCal.
- Personally prefer a shimmering, deeper reflective finish to a glossy, hard mirror-like finish.
- Expect longevity to my wax since the cars spend time baking in parking lots and at the beach when not garaged at night.
- Appreciate the value of some 'nubas to help to hide minor defects between polishing jobs.
- Use QDs during drying to help extend a waxes longevity.
- Have WG DGPS sealant, an old school 'nuba paste, Megs #26, OCW spray wax, Fuzion and a few other odds and ends in my collection.
- Trying to teach my teenager how to detail to make some spending money. A sunshine friendly wax could be a godsend if it doesn't mark black trim.
I recently tried Fuzion without polishing out my car and while the finish is bright, glossy, reflective and has depth without being sterile, it shows every flaw in the paint after a few days of driving it. I have the tools to correct the situation for the most part, but I now know that I have to do more than clay before using Fuzion.
With this in mind, which of the Poorboy waxes would you recommend that I try? I also used a wax specific QD with my old school nuba, if that makes a difference.
