Liquid Natty Blue available for sale

Its on my short list, lots of nice reviews in past month and pricing seems Poorboys strong too,

Actually, according to my test opinions and I think from Pockets it's closer to red then blue.

Give it a try

You tested it? I'll have to read more reviews on it. I really like the red so if it's close to that I'll try it

Yes, there were 12 of us selected for a beta trial and I believe all 12 posted a review.

Great price which was what I expected. I highly recomend this product to all. For those of you who detail for a living this is great for you, especially you mobile types. You're talking about pocket change per application for a product that goes on in the shade or sun with absolutely no problem and removes even easier. I can't say enough about it. The durability looks to be coming along great as well. I'm coming up on 6 weeks and still beading like a champ.

And I was the lucky 13 loll ( if we can say it or either call me the unlucky 13) to have a beta bottle.

I didn't have the chance yet to try it. maybe next week-end. I have a metallic charcoal acura to do.

Anyone know if any changes were made to it from what we got in the beta?

I can answer that :D

It is a tad thicker, but it is not very noticeable ... we were asked by so many testers not to play around with our last beta version (the one you all received) that we left it alone.

Yes, it does give a look closer to Natty's Red :xyxthumbs:

Please help me understand the different qualities of Natty's Red, Blue, Paste and liquid blue waxes so when the discussion says the Natty's Liquid Blue has Natty's red qualities, I can understand what they mean?

For perspective:
  • Currently own white and champagne beige BMWs and live in SoCal.
  • Personally prefer a shimmering, deeper reflective finish to a glossy, hard mirror-like finish.
  • Expect longevity to my wax since the cars spend time baking in parking lots and at the beach when not garaged at night.
  • Appreciate the value of some 'nubas to help to hide minor defects between polishing jobs.
  • Use QDs during drying to help extend a waxes longevity.
  • Have WG DGPS sealant, an old school 'nuba paste, Megs #26, OCW spray wax, Fuzion and a few other odds and ends in my collection.
  • Trying to teach my teenager how to detail to make some spending money. A sunshine friendly wax could be a godsend if it doesn't mark black trim.
I recently tried Fuzion without polishing out my car and while the finish is bright, glossy, reflective and has depth without being sterile, it shows every flaw in the paint after a few days of driving it. I have the tools to correct the situation for the most part, but I now know that I have to do more than clay before using Fuzion.

With this in mind, which of the Poorboy waxes would you recommend that I try? I also used a wax specific QD with my old school nuba, if that makes a difference.

I 2nd that. What IS the difference between Natty's Red vs Blue??? When would one be more advantageous over the other? I've heard many discussions. Can someone from Poorboy's themselves clear that up?

I'll try and make it simple
Natty's White ...clear and reflective
Natty's Blue ... Deep and Wet (helps to hide minor flaws)
Natty's Red ... Reflective and Deep
Liquid Natty's Blue ... Clear, Reflective and Wet

as for what you are looking for, I would choose Natty's Blue and the use of a good QD will prolong it's shine, especially in the drying process.
All can be used in the sun, I would do half or sections if it is really hot.

hmmmm with the post above, perhaps I should have gotten blue instead of red :( I thought red had a more wet look to it. I've tried red and it looks great! But now I am curious how red would look on my black paint...
