If a liquid wax and paste wax could make your vehicle look the same which would you prefer?

Liquid of course! Since I apply glazes, sealants, and waxes with a DA polisher liquids make more sense...

liquid, easier to apply by DA polisher

All things equal. Liquid so I can use my DA.

Manually, I like the feel of my fav nuba on the applicator. I have never applied a paste wax with a DA even if it might be the best way to do so.

It depends. As an AIO I prefer to use a liquid so I can use the rotary, but as a topper, there's no better feeling out there than rubbing a nice coat of paste on a vehicle with a foam applicator.

I read alot of people like to do paste wax by hand. I always perfer using a DA polisher even with paste, it seems to be a more even application. Maybe it is just what I am used to. What about removal? I always use the DA with a microfiber bonnet over a LC green pad at a speed of 5.

I like to use a cheap 12" random orbital IE the wax spreader for removal of liquid or paste.

the touch the feel of paste ... its the magic of my life !

Well done Scott :) :applause:

I have preferred waxing by hand but after using the LNB with my Flex I reeeeeally enjoyed that as well. So my answer is I love them both now.

Sometimes you feel like a paste... Some times you don't. So my hands use paste, Flex don't!

I prefer paste!! It's just easier for my. Less prep time, less clean-up time and less mess. Just a applicator, towels and go to town.

Hey Corey,

Have you ever dabbed some paste on a foam pad and apply it with your Flex 3401? I might give it a try and see how it lays down.....

I have not although I am certainly not opposed to it and I'm sure it's only a matter of time till I do. I think I'm going to put some orange crush on my Sky with bare hands. Never done that before either.

Paste for me! IMO it's easier to get an even coat and less wastage, since applicators would easily absorb liquid waxes. :)

I have an old generation PC and use 4" LC HT Crimson or a Blue CCS pad on 3 speed setting and Max Wax..A little goes a loooong way, very even and very easy. Liquid waxes don't seem to go as far and you get some splater....So it's paste for me...Now if we can just get DP poli-coat in a paste!

I'd like a liquid wax . I think it can make my vehicle look perfect.

Liquid, HANDS DOWN!!!! I love applying liquid LSP's with my Flex 3401 and a blue pad.
