LOng lasting Tire coating suggestions??

I been using Endurance Tire Gel for a couple of years now. Paid $5 bucks at the bigbox store. I wanted to know if there is anytire coating out there that last months instead of a few weeks.
 
Turtle wax jet black endura shine but get the one with the applicator not the aerosol. Tuf shine is also good.
 
Ultima Trim and Tire Guard lasts months.

I have also heard great things about Tuf Shine.

Both pricey but worth it!
 
I am pretty impressed with Blackfire Trim and Tire sealant so far. 2 coats on my tires looks about perfect and seems to be holding up well.

The car is a pretty dirty, but here is a pic

What... no love for Opti-Bond?

Not super glossy (which is a GOOD thing from where I'm standing) and lasts, and lasts, and lasts.

Takes a lot less of it than BF gel to coat as well.

That Megs slime drives me crazy! Smells like grape, looks like silicone, and makes a MESS like silicone as well. :rolleyes:
 
Tuf Shine lasts a long time, but the tire must be scrupulously clean or the coating will fail in an ugly way. Turtle Wax Endura lasts just as long, isn't as finicky about the pre-cleaning, and is cheaper. I still use the Tuf Shine tire cleaner though; there's nothing better on the market, IMO.

Opti-bond never lasts too long for me. In fact it's the last one I'd reach for out of all the dressings I have.

Yeah, Opti-Bond looks good, just enough shine for my taste. But durability? Depends on your weather. One heavy rain here on the Wet Coast and its halfway gone. A second day of rain? Just say goodbye to Opti-Bond. I have a gallon of the stuff from 3 years ago, I only tend to use it in the dry summer months, or if they forecast at least a week of no-rain.

I've since discovered Turtle Wax Tire Coating! :xyxthumbs:
 
Another vote for Turtle Wax.

OTC and got mine BOGO with a sale and mail-in rebate.
 
Then again, I don't drive in the wet.;)

Still have DP, BF, Megs, Turtlesnot, Hypershine, PERL & even aerosol spray around here though. Want something like ohhhhhh silicone, try ZEP aerosol. :laughing: CarMomma works at an auction and they buy it by the case! Talk about ozone depletion! :eek:

Speaking of aerosol.... Bill@ Duragloss sent me a sample can of Ultimate Detail Spray (265). Didn't use it on tires yet (and won't) but on the Denali running boards/top of back bumper it's been stellar.

Tuf Shine...prep is a pain, but its durability, protection and looks w/no-sling are second to none IMO!
