Are you still using the TW products these days?
 
I've almost totally switched to DIY DETAIL products as well as their methodology. It's so simple and cuts through a LOT of confusion.

They have 1 soap, 1 Rinseless Wash, 1 All Purpose Cleaner, 1 Polish as well as only 3 polishing pad types (Wool, Medium Cut - all purpose waffle pad, and a soft, jeweling waffle pad). Using their methods, you simply don't need any more.

They also have everything for decontaminating paint and 4 good (available for consumer) Ceramic Coatings.

About a year ago, I started binging on their videos and taking notes. They took all of my 40+ years of confused info and let.me organize it all, so it finally all made sense.

As a result, the time it takes me to complete a detail has been slashed and my skill-set and quality of work has skyrocketed. Because of them, I'm no longer afraid of a rotary, I actually prefer it in many ways.

I've dived deeper into the rabbit hole and found it to my liking. I also did my first paid Ceramic Coating job (I made over 3 times more than I ever had before on this job!)

NIce! And from the sound of what you wrote, you can read your excitement and enjoyment, a huge win! Thats what matters most, enjoying your time and having fun. You retired from years of high stress and found a way to totally separate that chapter of your life to decompress and just enjoy each day. Very happy for you sir!!
 
Pics as promised. The owner was OVER THE MOON!!! She received her FIRST compliment yesterday ... Someone asked what year her car was. She said "A 2020.' The response was: "NO WAY! It looks to good to be 5 years old!"

"Excitement" is too tame a term :p It was almost embarassing when Yvan showed up, I was giddy as a school girl :ROFLMAO:
 
Nice! The Rav4 looks good. I've seen a couple of his videos since DIY arrived on the scene, but I haven't jumped all the way into it. Did he leave the other company basically to start his own?
 
He mainly does DIY DETAIL and some consulting, traveling and training across Canada and the US
 
Don, do you still have your black Camaro? Or is it a blue one these days? If so, can you test something out for science? Connect your power washer and give it a good rinse would ya? And let us all know if rinsing it causes any swirls.lol.

The black one is DOA, a brand new, inattentive driver took it out Feb 2024. I got the blue one with the insurance settlement and a lot of help from my brother
