I went with Upol Raptor. It's an epoxy based. No rubber chunks. UV protected. I sanded every surface and cleaned with alcohol. Went on like a dream. Spray in btw.
 
Looks great...I remember doing my 01 Sport. I used the Herculiner and the Herculiner UV coat.
IMO its one of the best things to do to a Wrangler
 
Certainly a lot of work but the results are worth the time....:props:

About 2 years ago I did the bed in mu Dodge Dakota with Herculiner and it came out great. Because I did it myself I used 2 gallons and sprayed it in. I gallon once weekend and the second the following.
 
Gives your Jeep's interior a clean, fresh look.

My Jimmy came with some type of spray-in bedliner that was rubbery and I've never liked it. I do like my Dynamat floor in the front though...

That's what I like about this stuff. It's textured but hard. Not rubbery. And won't dry and crack like rubber.
 
Looks nice! Will make for easy cleaning of the interior as well!

I'm working on a new truck project, it's big and it's going to be bad... I'm also going to want do some coating to prevent rust and improve the appearance of the bed and frame since it will be visible.

Haven't decided what I'm going to use yet and I'm definitely going to check into what Dr. David Ghodoussi makes in the way of coatings for frames, bodies and undercarriages. I saw a display of these non-detailing related products at SEMA and while I don't know anything about them I know I trust his chemistry.


Here's a few teaser shots... this is a Corporate 14 Bolt 1-ton rear brake assembly the way I got it when I bought the truck....

I have got to get better at the mechanical part of cars and not just the looks. Awesome work Mike and Kris!
 
Did you have many problems with overspray since you did this outside. Any suggestions on how to minimize this? Great work by the way.

Do you have anything on the bottom covering the frame rails etc...?
