Lookie what I did for 11 hrs today...

Looks awesome.

I always wanted to do this when I owned my Wrangler but never did. Great job!

So sick! Thanks for sharing. Can you post pictures when you put everything back in?

I went with Upol Raptor. It's an epoxy based. No rubber chunks. UV protected. I sanded every surface and cleaned with alcohol. Went on like a dream. Spray in btw.

Ill keep it in mind if I do my cherokee, as por 15 is expensive and I dont know about monstaliner...as its jocked on jeep forum alot.

That looks great man. I really like the raptor coating. I used liner xtreme on my truck bed, I chose it because I could add as much rubber as I wanted. Prep work is key for good adhesion and it looks like you did great.

That looks like a ton of work!! Great job!! Looks really good!!!

Haven't decided what I'm going to use yet and I'm definitely going to check into what Dr. David Ghodoussi makes in the way of coatings for frames, bodies and undercarriages. I saw a display of these non-detailing related products at SEMA and while I don't know anything about them I know I trust his chemistry.

So Dr. G does more than detailing products? Interesting. Any way of obtaining more info regarding these products such as name(s)?

*Sorry Kris, not trying to hijack your thread but something new from Dr. G deserves a little attention! :D

I'm working on a new truck project, it's big and it's going to be bad... I'm also going to want do some coating to prevent rust and improve the appearance of the bed and frame since it will be visible.

Here's a few teaser shots... this is a Corporate 14 Bolt 1-ton rear brake assembly the way I got it when I bought the truck....

Mike,

Try getting a HVLP gun and mixing gloss black chasis paint and thinning it a little with mineral spirits so it sprays better. Then spray a bunch of degreaser under your vehicle and pressure wash it. Wear goggles. Get in there good. Once its completely dry, remove your wheels and tires and tape off anything you dont want gloss back. You will be amazed! do a test.

thanks for the props guys. more pics coming in a minute.

Wranglers have bare steel under the seats that get rust colored in like one year. I took this time to cost the entire frame brackets with rust inhibitor which ends up being a satin black. Looks great! Also cleaned the seats real well as treated all console parts with Prima Nero. Looks like new.

I'm on jeep forum as well. Monstaliner is jocked ALOT because they pay JF for advertising and are a vendor. It's just not the same as raptor or Linex.

Well got my door and top on. Whole thing is awesome now. It's amazing.
