Looking for a Good Interior Cleaner

Damp MF towel weekly, Blackfire Interior Cleaner monthly and Blackfire Interior Protectant every 4-6 months..

Most recently I've switched from Griots Garage Interior Detailer to using Pinnacle APC diluted 10:1 as result of dealing with some residue build up on my dash, as I found the GG wasn't strong enough for this particular application/issue. Please see this post for details: LINK With this in mind I'm still using GG Int Cleaner for quick cleaning until it runs out. After that I plan on using Pinnacle APC and found it wo be nice as flexible in its use by simply changing the dilution ratio. After the Pinnacle runs out I may switch to Meguiars APC for cost savings.

The one thing about using APC for it does nothing for the dash no protection or anti static. This is the reason I use Sonax dash cleaner protects and its anti static.

Deep Clean: Blackfire APC 1:4 followed by a damp rag.

Light Cleaning + protection: Scholl Purple

DP Total Interior Cleaner here. I ran out of my favorite one and tried DP.....its like i never switched from my previous cleaner

I like the DP stuff as well. I think it been since reformulated, but mine smells like rotting mushrooms. Sonus All In 1 is another good one.

For dash I like using Meguiar's APC+ diluted for interior then I like to use Ultima Interior Guard plus for protection.

For carpet I have tried Folex like others have suggested and it works great.

I do like to add a layer of protection to the carpet after I scrub it and use Folex. I've found that CarPro Cquartz Fabric & Leather Coating works great.

^ That's for really dirty interiors. For quick dust wipedowns I use UWW+ works and smells great.

Uww+ is awesome stuff. I agree it works well for interiors and many other things. I used a bottle of it in about a week.

I like and use 1ZCP, but sometimes wish it would darken black plastic more. How does the Scholl Purple compare?

I'm curious, will most APCs strip your interiors dressing? How often should you strip the dressing, if ever?

Absolutely will strip dressing. I do a hardcore clean/strip of my personal vehicle a couple times a year or as needed. Other than that I just wipe down and dust everything with compressed air. I reapply 303 a few times a year.

Thanks for all the help, I went with the 1zCP. Works really good. I think I'm going to order the 1z Plastic & Vinyl deep cleaner next.

I love the 1z products. I like how the cockpit premium leaves a matte finish without any grease or shiny residue. Just looks like clean oem dash. It works great on all of my plastics and electronics. really fresh scent too.

I have the deep plastic cleaner for tougher jobs.

I use the 1z Cockpit premium for weekly light wipedowns and I apply 303 protectant on top of that once every few months.

Interested to try some of the CG's stuff too!

For most interiors I use ONR. If I need anything stronger, I'll use some Meg's APC diluted.

Weekend Warrior here: Megs Interior Detailer Cleaner followed by 50/50 Megs D171 Water Based Dressing. Leaves a nice low gloss finish with no streaking.
