I have tried the knockoffs to compare and they don't hold a candle to the PFM. Send me your address and I'll send you a brand new one.
The package arrived last night. I can’t thank you enough, that’s very generous of you. May the good karma pay you back, my friend.

I did a bucket wash on my car earlier today and used the PFM straight out of the bag after a sheeting rinse.
Wet car:

Right out of the bag I could tell the PFM is built a bit more beefy than the knockoffs. It feels softer as well... The people out there who talk about the PFM not being soft enough are flat out wrong.
1 towel managed to dry my car minus the windows & wheels. I expected that to be the case + I don’t have a roof to dry. It did reach its maximum at the end of drying the car and I wrung it out to release a good amount of water. After wringing it out it was still useful for spot drying the nooks & crannies w/Sidekick.

Final thoughts: This towel is softer than expected.
You can feel the quality.
Impressive considering it’s a 16x16” towel.
Best drying towel ever? Not at this size... The 16x16” size is a bit awkward for drying a vehicle, I think the larger towel would provide a better user experience.
Reasons I think that?
1. You can’t really lay and drag with a towel this size.
2. At 16x16” if and when you lay it flat, its edges flop around [especially when drying vertical panels because your hand isn’t big enough to prevent it from happening.
3. Using a towel this size requires you to wipe and rub the paint as opposed to having the option to lay and drag. It’s nice to be able to have that option with a larger towel for those times/vehicles you want to be extra careful with.
However, none of those reasons are dealbreakers, and if I were to solely base it on overall quality of the towel and its drying performance I’d rate it top notch. But my personal preference can’t help but think the larger PFM is better suited for drying a vehicle.
Thanks again.
