Just wrapping up Meg Synthetic Spray wax... The spin off of the ever so awesome UQW and was looking to see if there is a better product out there since the release of this six months ago..
Have a 16 oz of AquaWax and it's just as good but just curious if there is something bigger and better

Ohhh and we use this as the last step after every wash so something that goes on and off very easy. We used to do QDs but they cost near the same and saying we do a spray wax is more appealing to the customer than a QD
 
Assuming you are referring to X-press liquid wax (D150). I don't think you will find anything better for your money.
 
Optimum Spray Wax rocks. It last a good while on it's own but will really help prolong the life of an existing wax and will keep customers very pleased with it beading properties especially on a wax that is starting to fail! Affordable in gallons also.
 
Optimum Car Wax, hands down!!! I use it as a standalone LSP on my car and all details that I do.

What kind of durability are you seeing as a standalone? I personally find it very impressive for a wax let alone a spray wax.

I got 3 months on my z06 and it was still protecting. I stripped and reapplied anyway.
 
Meg's D156... The one you already are using is great stuff. Nothing is easier even in 30 degree temps and best spray wax in my opinion for the buck. I've tossed every detail spray I've ever owned. Great as a drying agent too . OCW I have found is finicky especially in winter once temps drop below 50. I have to use products that work effortlessly in cold temps or blazing sun. Meg's synthetic spray wax does. Looks great too. Longevity is under rated. I'd stick with what you have.
 
Effortlessly is exactly what I need ... Not applying, hazing, turn the towel over and buff ... I think ur right fox ...

d156-great spray wax-$32.00 a gallon

OCW-great sray wax-$40.00 a gallon

AW- a great sray wax- $35.00 a gallon

For the cost Fred what your using would be my choice.

I like Griots spray wax for shine and ease of use. You wont get 3 months out of it though, maybe 3 weeks.
 
I picked up bottle of Eagle One Nano Spray Wax a short time ago and while its only been on the car about 3 weeks I'm pretty happy so far. It seems to be equal to or better than the UQW so far in staying relatively shiny and beading. I think this is the same stuff sold through CarBrite by the gallon. Don't have any idea about cost but maybe some other production guys can chime in.

Would you please explain why you say: "D150 is junk seriously".

Comparing these two products.....
What's the difference in the %/kind of wax (if any) between these two products?

IME....Seems like OCW would be the better choice. That is, if it's true that it does in fact contain at least some % of carnuba wax as claimed.


But then again, it's your decision to use the 'spray-wax' you choose for your "intended purposes".

I'm a DGAW user and like it alot. If the Megs product is good enough and cheaper why change? Same reason why I go back to DGAW, it's cheaper than the other stuff I like and when on BOGO I get enough to last a long time. I only do 4 cars a week, just personal stuff.
