Looking to try something new for tires.

I saw the McKee's tire coating used at the Tampa CR shoot last week and was blown away by it. I'm like VISITOR and have been loyal to CarPro Perl straight up for about a year now. I WILL be adding the McKee's tire coating to my next AG order!

I find a quick dry of the tire sidewalls after washing prolongs the dressing longevity.

I used the DP tire coating a few times before it changed over to McKee's and it is nothing short of amazing. A simple wash with my rinseless would have the tire looking awesome.

Like desernate said all tire coatings and dressings are tire dependant. The tires on my wife's outback look great with whatever you put on them while the tires on my truck do not. The only thing I've found to look good and last a few weeks on those tires is blackfire AIO cleaner and protectant.

Anyone use WETS on tires? It is on the pricey side for a tire sealant but wondered if looks and longevity may be worth it.

How long are McKees and Gyeon lasting? Like the idea of coating a tire and not worrying about it for months. Especially on my two grocery getters.

I'm still using the Bold and Brite based off your 14 Vette and yours and Pat's recommendation at DF. Love that stuff. Don't dress my tires that often. Not really going to impress the Walmart crowd with dressed tires on my Sienna. I save it for special occasions like a trip to the big city and Target:)

The McKees lasts and lasts and lasts. The last I saw of the cars I tried it on lasted 3 months + and then they moved.

Gyeon lasts a month or so, but less work.

PB. Simple, brush it on, let dry, wipe and go

I'm still playing with Gyeon. I like the smell, and the bottle it comes in.

PBs got me about 2.5 weeks recently on the wife's daily driver. I liked the look, and even better was its ease of use

How many typical car tires will McKees coat?

4 ounces seems ike a small bottle.

It goes a long way. I'm still trying to use up my 8 oz bottle which has coated my tires all of last year and my dad's twice last year. I refresh every 3 months or so. 4 months is pushing it as it starts flaking off.

I have using the new Griots Black Shine on my winter tires and I must say it looks pretty good and has been holding its own after washes.

I've been beta testing a new tire coating that's due out this spring that I'm sure is going to be very popular and yes, it's a brand sold here on AG.

In some cases you/we will never remove all the browning on a tire.

In reading the many suggestions, because I need a new tire gel myself (no thanks to Meguiar's discontinuing D163), it seems the coatings might NOT be a product for my business. ??? I'm sure the majority of my customers won't be reapplying, so I'm worried about the peeling and flaking.

Opti-Bond is fairly close to D163. It's not as shiny as D163. Adams VRT is another one that is similar to D163. Blackfire Total Eclipse is good too if you like the black tire look with not a lot of gloss. Perhaps you can upsell a tire coating to those that are interested in something longer lasting and offer a retouch up plan during a maintenance wash.

How come no one mentioned Turtle Wax Jet Black Endura-Shine Tire Coating?

Outlast PERL and Opti-bond by a long shot.
