I did a 2 step correction about 3 years ago on this car. At the time it only had 2200 miles. The last couple years have been a little harder on it as its now a daily driver (a massively fun one). At 14,500 miles its obviously not a long commute, but it just doesn't get the care it did as the weekend toy.

With both my customer and myself having a very busy schedule, setting a date for it was a little bit of a challenge. When we finally did and I saw the condition, I knew it was due for another 2 step correction, but neither of us had more than 1 day to work on it. So a long 1 step correction was chosen. I spent extra time working the polish as long as possible to get as much correction as possible. At the end of the day about 80-85% correction was achieved leaving mostly just the deep scratches and very few remaining swirls. The customer was a little worried 1 step wouldn't do enough, but in 3 years I'd become much more efficient and brought it just about right back to where it was last time and he was quite pleased with the result.

Thanks for checking it out!

Very nice for just a one step!! what compound/polish did you use?

That paint was rough.

Buy you really brought it back. Looks great now.

And on a car with no brightwork the polished exhaust tips really make a big difference.

An American legend restored to it's rightful place....Simply Gorgeous!! :props:

Menzerna Super Finish PO106FA can almost be considered the best 1-Step paint correction product on the market. It has a moderate cut but when combined with the right pad can remove about 80% to 90% of the finish defects in one pass...

A Porter Cable 7424xp + Menzerna Super Finish PO106FA + Orange & White foam pad can correct just about anything.....:props:
