Was my own customer for a change on my new 2016 Mustang Eco-Boost Premium Pony Package.
The dealer knows me so they asked if I wanted the typical wash and spray wax, I said sure... Aside from that and a quick interior, they really didn't do much...
Luckily the guys at the dealership know me and are on my mailing list so the car came back clean (to some degree) inside and out but moreover, no swirls or scratches!
It was time to give the Silver Bullitt a proper detailing and so it got one! The temps (65 deg) were ok to work with CQUK in the Garage, but I must admit, the flash time took forever.
But I look at it this way, I'd rather that than go through the winter with crappy spray wax as protection.
The car really didn't need a polish at all. There were no swirls, no scratches at all!!! However, I wanted to give it a proper polish to prep the surface for the coating.
The details:
Exterior:
Tarminator (very little required)
Griot's HD Wheel Cleaner - wheel woolies
Pinnacle 4:1 APC
Wolfang Total Engine Cleaner
Megs Hyper-Wash - Chenille Wash Mitts, 2BM/ GG
Auto Geek Foam Cannon - Megs Hyper Wash
Pinnacle Exhaust Tip Cleaner / LC Scrubber
Iron-X
Pinnacle Ultra Poly Clay - Megs D114
Waffle Guzzlers (to dry)
Gold Plush JR 16x16 MF's
Black MF's for jambs engine and wheels
White Waffle for Glass - McKee's Krystal Vision Glass Cleaner
Griots BOSS G15 / BOSS Orange Pads / BOSS Correcting Cream
CQUK
CQDLUX
Interior:
McKee's Fast Interior Cleaner - Awesome Stuff!!!
McKee's Krystal Vision Glass Cleaner
And a new car doesn't need Iron-X???????
