The owner of this vehicle was interested in having the exterior of the vehicle cleaned to the fullest extent. This rare, beautiful sports sedan underwent several days of careful cleaning, paint correction, and finally ceramic coating application for incredibly gloss and shine that will surely make this car stand out even more on the street. The exterior was thoroughly washed and decontaminated to prep the vehicle for polishing.

The vehicle was then thoroughly compounded to remove the majority of defects from the paint. Here are several before/after shots taken during the cutting process.

Beginning the final polishing step. You can see where the hood looks hazy from compounding vs where it looks darker after final polishing.

This car was a joy to work on... a real inspiration for what I can only hope I may be fortunate enough to enjoy in my own garage one day.

Beautiful work! I love these cars, they're beautiful. My neighbor just picked up a new 650i gran coupe and I'll hopefully be given the opportunity to detail it!

Amazing work Zach! Always look forward to your write ups.

Great work and write up! Car was hammered. You brought it back to life...owner should be thrilled!

Looks amazing Zach! I love the stance of that car...sinister!

Awesome work....that car was beat. I can't let my wife see this thread, she'll bug me to trade in the M3 LOL

OMG what a stunning job! That car is amazing!

I do not like the black chrome finish on these BMWs. Not very durable and harder to clean properly.

Great work! Just picked up a G21 and there fast correcting cream, correcting cream and perfecting cream along with there pads. How do you find there pads and compounds work?

Stunning work and showdown,

as always incredible 50/50 (and we can't get enough), what to say about the sun pictures, congratulations on this beautiful result.

Thank you so very much for sharing,

Kind Regards.

Great work Zach! Nice job with the pics capture the defects too!

Beautiful work! How did you like the Sonax Leather Foam?

Thanks for the comments everyone!

I reallllllly like the pads! So far my favorite liquid has been the fast correcting creme. The correcting creme is also very nice. The only issue I have with them is that they're fairly oily, which takes longer to wipe off. Very similar feeling to Menzerna polishes. I just hit the panels with an IPA wipedown immediately after finishing each panel to ensure I've wiped it away.

Great work Zach! Nice job with the pics capture the defects too!
Thanks bud! Sapphire black is always a challenge to capture defects on camera... we do what we can :dblthumb2:

Beautiful work! How did you like the Sonax Leather Foam?

Thanks! Foam worked very well... quick and easy to use. We just did a light cleaning on this vehicle... spray on, wipe off. Left a matte finish and pleasant scent.
