I'm making a video of my new service and
Would like to showcase it with a high end
Looking video.

Any good online software? After effects, etc.

Post examples if you can.

Thanks.

Not sure about online software but Adobe Lightroom is worthy of checking out. Lots of YouTube tutorials and it's pretty easy to use for powerful editing software.

Thanks, I'll check it out.

Do you have a Mac? I use iMovie that comes with a Mac so you don't have to buy anything new. It's easy to use even for beginners. I take a lot of GoPro videos and normally don't do much editing anymore because I'm too busy with life but if you spend the time you can make a quality video.

Here is one I did last year after a trip up to Snowshoe WV with some riding buddies. Editing is my longest part of making a video. I have no formal training- just figure this stuff out by trial and error. Watch in HD.

Have you used After Effects before? The learning curve is STEEP.
I owned my own film business before - and I taught film and broadcast for about five years...Do you have a PC or MAC? Have you ever used a video editing software before?

Cool video, I have windows with movie maker
Doesn't look to bad. Thanks for sharing the video.

After effects is not easy to learn but it is cool. On a PC its hard to say what software you can use, but on macs like mentioned before iMovie is very good for beginners, also final cut is good too.

Ok just thought that I would chime in here and give you my 2 cents worth of info.

I have used a wide variety of software and found that I like Final Cut Pro X the best. Adobe Premiere and After Effects are great programs but if you are a novice to video editing they can be a little bit over whelming.

All the videos that I produce for PBMG are created in Final Cut Pro, Motion and Adobe After Effects (I use a Mac for about 95% off the work that I do). The templates that people are talking about are going to need Adobe After Effects, and yes you will need CS4 or later in order to edit them. If all that you have is movie maker, you can still create a decent video just you will be limited to what you can do, i.e. text/visual/graphic/transitions effects.

Best thing that I would tell you is find a buddy with a Mac and you can create a high quality video using iMovie (or better yet Final Cut) with nice effects. The reason why I am suggesting this is due to that fact that they are simple programs to understand for the novice and have a lot of power to produce stunning videos.

If you have any questions feel free to hit me up. Hope this helps.
