The customer initially scheduled this during the weekend before the carshow. But had requested to have it detailed during the weekdays instead because he had the interior re-upholstered. So we got this car Thursday night at around 8PM, gave it a nice long wash, including the engine and the undercarriage, we finished at around 12mn and called it a night.

The next morning my bestfriend, and business partner started the paint correction using the DA with m105 on orange pads. Yeah, he's still not confident using the Makita yet, he's more of an interior guy. But an accident broke a few hours later and rendered the DA useless. Since i was still at my day job, he had to wait for me to start the paint correction. I arrived at around 730pm, changed to some work clothes and went to town. Lots and lots and lots of deep scratches and a really really bad one at the hood (someone had keyed it at the parking lot according to the owner). To cut the story short, i finished at around 630am just in time for the customer to pick it up at 7am for the 8am car show. (Yes, i wasn't able to sleep, we also went to the car show to give the car a "freshening up", that was after a nice soothing shower of course)!

Here are some pictures at the Mazda car show. Sorry i do not have before pictures, i'm sure you guys can imagine how hard it is to finish with a time restraint, since we weren't expecting the XP accident. The original plan was for me to just take care of the deep scratches and polish it using the Makita.

And here's the only sports car at the show. Car wasn't really at a show car finish to begin with, but still is a bad car rolling on TE37s. I wish the owner of this RX7 also engaged our detailing services.
