... I figured I'd post this here since it's product related:
Today I took the time to address a couple of minor details that my co worker had regarding his car that I detailed this past weekend...
1 of his questions was in regards to the black plastic window trim that he couldn't help but notice sticks out like a sore thumb now that the rest of the car is all nice and shiny.
In the past this is usually 1 of those areas that I usually try to avoid messing with if I can help it. [sort of like headliner] But since he seemed persistent about it I had to do something about it. So my 1st thought was to try the Mckee's Coating Prep Polish on it.
This is a before shot after wiping it clean with WG Uber real quik:
After a quik nickel sized application on a terry applicator by hand. Can you see Mr. Clean in the reflection now? Lol. Not bad for 1 minutes time eh?
Just like the previous time, I know it'll take some elbow grease, but I think I can fully restore it fairly quik.
Feel free to share any other methods to restoring this type of trim. Thx.
