Seems like an exceptional value for an all purpose interior cleaner. Does it do well on tough grime?

I was going to order the 103 but someone here told me 101 is better has a nice foaming action on really dirty areas like wheels.. and is supposed to be a REALLY REALLY great apc good on any and everything. I've done a bit of Googling and some reading and seems that there isn't much that stuff isn't good at!
From greasy engines, to dirty wheels, carpets, vinyl, leather, and everything in between..
I'm getting a gallon FOR SURE!!!

At a suitable concentration it will tackle very tough areas.

I use it on my wheels, just recently cleaned my carpet with it & a wet/dry vac (10:1 all over & 4:1 for stains & stubborn dirt)
Also cleaned up some vinyl & plastics with excellent results.

Very versatile & so damn cheap!
The only cons are that anything you use it on should be rinsed (only a con in some situations) & from what I've some people have had problems with it on paint.
Personally I've put an ounce in my foam cannon before for very dirty cars & have sprayed a very weak solution around badges, fuel cap area, etc before washing with no problems...

I have d103 aka apc+ and am curious what the scent is on d101? Any help? I may just purchase it for a dedicated interior cleaner for it's foaming ability and Apc+ for exterior and hot water extractor use. Thanks guys

Alex, I haven't tried APC+ but from what I've read (quite a lot) they are very similar but + has some degreaser in it & is low-foaming.
I chose APC as I won't be using an extractor with it.
The foam lets me see where I'm cleaning (with carpet, etc) & IMO adds some cleaning power for wheels, etc

BeachZone, the scent on 101 is hard to explain. I would say it is a very faint chemical but fresh smell. Very similar to a lot of household multi-purpose cleaners.
I recently cleaned my carpets with it & no smell remained after just a few minutes...
I find the foaming ability to be great, unless of course you want to use it with an extractor

Neat d34 this helps out a lot, wouldnt apc+ be more effective since it has degreaser on it? Is the apc just if you want foam?

Every where I read seems people prefer m101 I was gonna get 103 but just ordered 101 and the soap to.. can't remember the number but it wasn't shampoo + it was the one with a 400:1 dilution rate.. I guess I'll see soon if it was a good choice

Is this what you got? Meguiars Hyper-Wash is a concetrated car wash for frequent or professional detailing. Super foaming, long lasting car shampoo from Meguiars.

I have been using the APC+ and it works amazing. I have just received another gallon of it. I am not going to bother with the 101 since I do not want any foaming with my extractor.

SonOfOC, I haven't tried OPC yet but for me it would have to be something pretty special for the price. More than double the cost of Megs & not suggested to dilute as much means a lot less product for my money... Have you tried both?

akj,

I haven't tried APC+ so can't really say too much but I have Megs super degreaser so if I ever needed to I would mix that with my APC.
APC also has optical brighteners for fabric & carpet which + does not have. A very recent post by Mike Phillips (in someone elses thread) detailed all the differences between the two.

Have heard good things about hyper-wash, especially for its price per wash once diluted. Apparently good through a foam cannon too...
