If you are planning to go inexpensive line - go with Optimum. Works well in a sun, and no dust. Menzerna is a little pricey, but you don't really need the whole line, just SIP and PO106FF; and use them on YOUR vehicles. Menzerna polishes are a must on super hard clear coats (yes, your BMW), but work well on all. Softer clear coats - you can get away with Optimum.FMINUS said:Toto suggested 83,84,85. Any other good ones?
XMT is better than 83? Menzerna is too exp to use all the time.
How does OPT compare to Menzerna and Megs?
let me tell you something...meguiar's 80's were good in the 80's...FMINUS said:What are the best offerings in this line? I think its the #80's
Toto seems to use these polishes a lot, can anyone highlight some offerings?

on 21 century cars you might wanna look at 21st century polishes, like XMT series, and Menzerna...

ScratchX
The most effective way to safely remove fine scratches and swirls...Now by hand OR with a dual action polisher! Our new and improved ScratchX® uses diminishing abrasive™ technology to safely and effectively remove fine scratches, swirls, and oxidation. As you work ScratchX into the surface of your vehicle, the abrasives diminish and your paint surface is polished to reveal brilliant color and clarity. Clear coat safe, ScratchX will not create new scratches and will not simply "cover" fine scratches as most conventional products do.
#80 (AKA Speed Glaze)
Speed Glaze provides paint shop safe protection. Removes light to moderate swirls, oxidation and paint defects. Restores a glistening “new paint” shine. Versatile – can be used with a rotary buffer (wool or foam pad), D/A polisher, orbital or by hand. Easy, low dusting wipe-off.

From personal experience. Had a Garage door mark to take off the roof of my truck. 80 didn't do anything to it after many passes. Put some scratchX on it and the mark was removed first pass. It could be me? Maybe I don't use the 80 properly.
Have you ever used them both Coupe?
