Meguiar's 2013 lineup

I hear you Mike. But I have heard that 1 dot of M101 + 2 dots of D300 or M105 makes a nice boosted compound for those super hard paints that have really bad defects.

See above. Also use sparingly.

105 and 300 mixed is great with the mf system......... been using it since the mf system came out.....don't get me wrong here I would love to try 101.......but to spend that kind of money for 32oz of compound that who knows how many times I'm going use is just nuts.

if I need that much cut that fast I'm breaking out the sandpaper.

Many of us already have used M101, myself included. It works great, just don't expect rainbows and magical unicorns to appear and you won't be dissapointed. Less dusting, longer work time, and a little more cut with the right pad. I paid a ridulous amount for my bottle and thought I would get to see the magical unicorn.

IMO, M101 is not M105 on steroids. It's Ultimate Compound on steroids.

Meg's FOAM cut compound? It works great with MF pads, too. ;)

Even if M101 had the same cut as M105, it's easier to work with. M101 still cuts better, just sayin'...

They really need to include a warning on the bottles... "Rainbows and Unicorns NOT included." I think M101 may be the most hyped product of 2012. With that being said: I can't wait to try some out!!!

I got a 8oz sample of 101 and its defintely a nice product. Like many have warned, dont expect rainbows and unicorns. Expect it to be a nice cutting product used in situations that warrant such an abrasive product.

I will be stocking up on it, I have a few cars lined up next month that are beat to a pulp and this is what the Dr. ordered :)

Which doctor??? Not Dr. G I'm assuming, LOL!!!

That new "DA on a Stick" thing looks interesting. Opens up the possibility for machine polishing to the masses. The leather sealer also looks nice. Honestly, I don't really use many Meg's products. I bought a gallon of APC+ and wasn't super impressed. I can see pro detailers looking forward to M101, but if you just detail your own cars, how many times would you need such an aggressive product?

It'd be a god-send...IMO...
If this Meg's product performs as described:

-Might keep a lot of "auto-glass blemishes"...
From being so inadvertantly imparted.

:dunno:

Bob

When that 101 hits the shelves, we'll probably see more of those "What's this dull spot on my hood after compounding?" threads.

Honestly,I have yet to find a better (for me) compound or polish than 105 and 205.

I was just thinking the same thing Dave......:props:

I have heard of people striking through by using the old formula of ScratchX and working by hand. Does that mean that every product that is more aggressive should be discontinued?
