Saw this on Facebook too! Can't wait for a full review of this product! I am assuming this is an AIO

Thanks Mike!! I'm really enjoying D166. HD Speed does finish a little bit better, but D166 has WAY more cut and the protection it leaves behind really feels substantial.

This is a good time to ask you, I know the terms "cleaner wax" and "AIO" have always been interchangeable.

Are cleaner waxes/sealants like Klasse AIO and Poorboy's Polish w/carnauba also considered AIO's? I feel like the term "All-in-one" actually mis-classifies products that are non-abrasive because these products do not contain any abrasives and ONLY chemically clean and protect.

Products like D166 and HD Speed that are abrasive and truly clean, POLISH, and protect are not really cleaner waxes because they are abrasive. So they would be classifies as AIO's.

I'm sure you have an article about this very topic. I was just hoping for your opinion because it seems like previously interchangeable terms AIO and cleaner wax are becoming two entirely different categories now that AIO's like D166 contain such a heavy abrasive load.

Good question.

If a product

  1. Cleans/compounds/polishes (removes some form of defect be it light, shallow or deep)
  2. Polishes - refines the surface
  3. Protect - Regardless of what the magic potion is made from...

If a product does all three of the above then it is a cleaner/wax or cleaner/sealant or cleaner/coating or AIO <-- All terms mean the same category of product.

Products like D166 and HD Speed that are abrasive and truly clean, POLISH, and protect are not really cleaner waxes because they are abrasive. So they would be classifies as AIO's.

And Klasse All-in-One is also an All-in-One and it's non-abrasive.

Nope - different words for same category of product.

Use to be a guy on this forum that would argue that AIOs and cleaner/waxes were different. First I won't argue and second he couldn't back up his claim.
