So...just got a bottle of this for Christmas....what dilutions do you guys use this in and for what applications?

I use it at 3:1. Only use it for fender liners and for quick engine bay dressing

I do 4:1. I use it for engine compartments only.

3:1 for wheel wells and engine. same dilution can be used with PERL as well which i personally like better...

I use it 1:1 for everything. Tires, wheel wells, engine bays, occasionally I'll use it on interior pieces.

Doesn't last for beans.

It actually lasts a pretty good long time once it's been applied a few times to the surface. These tires were scrubbed clean with Megs D143 yesterday and I didn't even bother to re apply Hyper Dressing [because there was too much dirt on the ground where it was being washed] and the tires remain black even after about 2 weeks since it was last applied.

I don't really care for the look of shiny tires. Hyper Dressing @ 3:1 makes tires look like new without being annoyingly glossy.

So.....here's an update. I mixed up some of this at 3:1 and tried it on different things. It's excellent on wheel wells, and actually holds up fairly well.....better than the Griots Undercarriage spray did. On my wheel wells, I could not just spray it on and walk away, though. I had to work it in and wipe off the excess. Used it on tires...nice matte finish that held up pretty well, too. Also tried it on exterior trim...it fared better than Blackfire Total Trim Sealant on non-textured trim, but not quite as well as on the textured bed rails on my pickup. I'm always leery about trying something that's only available in large quantities, in the event that I do not like it. This one's a winner so far.

I use it 2:1 on tires. Unlike most, I like kind of glossy tires. Not greasy, but a little shine. Hyperdressing 2:1 does that for me. For other surfaces, I do 3:1.

I use 3:1 on tires. It doesn't last as long as some others, but gives a nice "new tire" look.

Also super cheap!

That's 1 of my gripes with using it at lower dilutions, it seems too watery to be able to set on its own. For me, 1:1 works perfect.

I'm still experimenting with it....will give it a shot at 2:1 and see how that goes
