I've been using this line alot lately, and I've been very impressed with it. From the Quick Wax, and Quick Detailer to the Ultimate Polish, I have no complaints. I will be using the Ultimate Compound pretty soon, hopefully another great product.

While there are better product out there, this is definately a great OTC line of products, at a great value.:props:

Anyone else have any experiences of this line?

the Quick Detailer is amazing. i love the sprayer. i was told that its a revamped version on M34 final inspection. has the same barcode # thingy lol

I tried the QD today (thanks maximus20895), really good stuff! Way better than the ONR at the QD ratio. I will definatelly be using it regularly.:dblthumb2:

Amen on the ultimate Quik wax and detailer. Great value and I think the Quik wax may be one of most under rated Megs products. I could easily get along entirely on Megs products...with optimum a close second

so far i've used the ultimate quik wax, polish, liquid wax, protectant, and compound. all are great products. i used ultimate compound to clean my windows that had some water spots and ultimate protectant really makes my dull and flat pillars shine.

The Quick wax is great, and the durability is amazing for a WOWO spray wax, and I agree on how under-rated it is. However, I'm not the biggest fan of it's looks on certain colors. Too plastic looking. :/

I bought a bottle of the Ultimate Compound the other year and tried it with my rotary and my flex 3401. It is a nice product to work with in my opinion.

I just got a small bottle of the ultimate spray wax with the clay kit I bought recently and tried it on the Krylon painted hood on my van. It seems to be holding up OK.

I saw that kit, how is the clay, compared to others?

I have used the ultimate line except the paste wax have had good results for a otc product ( not complaining) The liquid wax gave average durability but it did seem to be a dust magnet on one vehical that it was used on. It may have been weather related or I may have spread it to thick.

The clay is the mildest clay that I have used but it is actually a nice clay IMO It sticks to my hands well so it isn't likely to hit the ground. I have never noticed any marring from a new piece of Meg's Smooth surface Clay. It has it's place in my arsenal for sure.

I way give it a try. I'm open to a good OTC clay. But for now I still have a good bit DP clay!

I am a huge fan of all Megs products as many of you know from my suggestions to others.

The Ultimate Trio (Compound, Polish, Wax) is the best OTC combo out there IMO.

:iagree:

I did a 'trio' job on the wifes black Subaru earlier in the summer. TOTALLY impressed.

Whereas the compound may not have the 'cut' of 105, it sure is a LOT more friendly to use.

Can't comment on the wax as yet...been using UQW every week or so and all seem well. Time will tell.

My 2 cents...

Bill

Loving their QD so far...IMHO probably on of the BEST QD's I have used to date...

Ultimate Quick Detailer and Ultimate Spray Wax are good but the sprayer stinks. It shoots out an awkward patern that doesn't cover evenly and the trigger is flakey too. I much prefer the sprayer top that is used on M34.

Just got Ultimate Liquid Wax. I will probably use it in an upcoming write up.:xyxthumbs:

:updated:

I finally decided to give the Meg's UC a try, and did a test spot on ly old Bronco II after wet-sanding with 2000 grit. My goal was to see if the Ultimate Compound could remove 2000 grit scratches. Keep in mind that I did not use a machine for this test:

Since I did this test in direct sunlight, I had a bit of a problem when removing the Ultimate Polish, So I used the Ultimate QD to help remove. I then applied the Ultimate liguid wax to seal an area just big enough so there is a noticable difference between the sealed vs. non-sealed polished area.

You will notice a small amount of distortion in the reflection, due to the slight curvature and a dent.

That metal flake really pops now!:dblthumb2:

Really good stuff for OTC.

I completely agree. Been using Meguiar's products since the 80's. Man I'm old!
