As I'm sure many have noticed, Scholl items are practically being given away today. I tried to look up reviews but I couldn't find much. I am interested in trying some out but not sure which ones. The spider pads are already gone

Also does anyone know if it would be too late to make an adjustment to an order already placed?? I want to take advantage of the $5 shipping

I couldn't resist, bought the entire line available of polishing compounds. Plus some cutting and polishing pads. 75% off, plus 20% on top of that, it is a steal.
Thanks a lot, AG.

anyone have any experience with these compounds that they care to share?

I went ahead and purchased the liter of w6 wax as well as the purple and orange foam pads since the blue ones were out. I figure for 20 bucks they can't be that bad.

The gold compound is like FG 400, but better. The matting compound is very aggressive, imagine M101 with even more cut. And the wheel cleaner is the best iron dedicated wheel cleaner I've used.

I ordered 25 bottles of wheel cleaner btw

How many bottles of s3 gold did u order

They are still on sale, just no 20% off and $5 shipping on top of it.

The prices are too good to resist! I ordered 10 bottles of the wheel cleaner, and the complete line up of polishes/compounds.

I really need to quit buying more product!! :autowash:

I didn't buy any. I have a couple bottles of each already.

I tell myself that every time I place an order. Where are you at in the Bay? I'm in Alameda

At those prices I couldnt resist either and purchased most of the line up of compounds. I just wish I would have read your comment sooner. M101 and fg400 are my all time favorites.

I am in San Mateo on the peninsula. It's good to see another bay area person on AGO!

There's actually quite a few of us on here. Whenever we can all agree on a day, we will be having a "detail day" to coat my Tundra.

Picked up a couple of the Wool pads just to try. I've heard people rave about their spider pads, though.

I think a meet up would be cool. You have a Tundra as well? Are you on TundraTalk?

Thanks for the input guys. I ended up adding the matting and gold compounds, those prices were too good to resist.

Here's a full write-up, showing before and after results plus all the action shots of the Scholl Concpets products in use...

Cool truck we buffed out too. This thing was completely covered in yellow paint overspray.

I probably created 5-6 articles just by having this truck in the shop.

Is it the new S3 version or the old? I think the new is Gold XXL?

I bought a bunch of the wheel cleaner and a few of the other products. Is there any fear of the expiration date on the bottles running out? It may be years before I use up all of the wheel cleaner.
