After a torrential downpour this past week, and several trips to visit family, the beast was covered in grime and bugs. Correction was done earlier this spring (using Menz SIP/85RD and Flex), so proper washing techniques is all that was needed to maintain the swirl free finish. (FYI, I am still debating whether or not to Optimum Opti-coat 2.0 it yet or not... I still love using my Fuzion and Souveran and Supernatural and 50/50 alternately.... hmmmmmmm)
Process:
2 bucket method
2 grit guards
DP Extreme Foam
ONR (2 capfuls)
OPC for bugs
ARO for rims and tires (Daytona and boar's hair brush)
Sonax High Speed Wax (my new favorite spray wax/drying aid...uber slick) and MF's for drying
2 coats of CG 50/50 (looks and applies as easy as Souveran, but with better flake pop and much better durability)
Now some in-sun close ups to show a swirl free finish and the Honda Nighthawk pearl paint flake. I love that little hint of blue.
Thanks for looking!!!
