Menzerna FG-400 as 1 step?

Refreshauto, Just awesome shots of your results! Especailly being on a Dark paint. Beautiful and encouraging stuff there man!
 
I 1-stepped this Kia Optima with FG400 last year. Not by design, but when I finished with FG400 I was completely happy. Couldn't see hitting it with SF4000, so I topped it with Power Lock & called it a day.
 
Great job on the Optima! I'm doing an Optima in a couple of weeks. Which pad did you use?

Thanx! I used 2 or 3 good old white LC CCS & my long-throw machine. I was amazed because I was definitely planning on 2-stepping it.
 
FG400 is my favorite and an absolute money maker. My process could be defined as 2-step but its only a one step correction. I use the FG400 and a orange force hybrid LC pad with my flex. Start out first couple passes slow with heavy pressure. Last 4 passes increase speed and decrease pressure. Follow up using my cyclo with polishing pads to apply Megs #21 synthetic sealant. Comes out like a mirror regardless of the color.
