Its not my forum, but it seems to me having a guy like this posting, giving advice and calling himelf a "Pro Detailer" meanwhile obviously being a disrupting influence, hurts the credibility of the forum, and thereby, the business interest the forum was created to support.

Well, i have not tried any other glazes to compare the menzerna to. But soon i will get a test pannel and do some sidebysides with other glazes.

If thats the same area that was wet sanded, Id say you came out great. At least in the pics, it appears perfect. Is that the case with the naked eye?

This is definitely one of the more amusing threads I've read on AG in a long time! CLASSIC!!!

Instead of focusing on "fixing" the rear bumper, how about a little Black WOW on that rubber thing next to the license plate???

Joy..I will say you did a great job...it came out nice...but a little thought for you...get a panel or 2 from a body shop and practice on them....

I give you a A+ for enthusiasm trying to learn and perfect skills...but I give you a D for your choice of test beds....LOl...

I give you credit for wanting to learn....Just go get some panels OK...and go at them till your hearts content...

there are some good body repair forums and they have a ton of info on the wet sanding and correcting paint defects....good place to start reading,,,,

AL, thank you. I have been planning for a long while to get some pannels but most of them wont fit in my car. And I am waiting on a chemical to clean that plastic, it got stained by the menzerna, simple green wont do it.

Joy..try tarminator and a nylon scrub brush....or a citrus base cleaner...it should remove it

Those arent exactly profanities. I think some boards are over modded, but this one seems pretty fair to me. Given, I have only been here a couple of weeks. It does seem that there are always some over-sensitive types on every board though. People shouldnt take themselves too seriously.

That has nothing to do with sensitivity level or anything else. It is my understanding this is a family friendly board and sub-forum in question is not "off topic" sub-forum, it is a detailing discussion, so language used should not be what is considered crude and in poor manners. I feel if that is the way one would not talk to their parents then that is not how they should talk here. And if that is the way they do talk to their parents then they still should not talk that way here.

Because it would likely take me an hour to repair post and delete all the nonsense on this post, it is now closed. I am truly saddened to see the constant lack of proper behavior on this post. Over the last year never ONCE has another post ended up this way !

We dont call individuals names, we provide sound detailing advice. We not use nasty language to get our point across, we take the time to show the poster why/how we feel something is done improperly. And finally we dont call out Admin and Mods on post, we use PM to voice an opinion that post should be reviewed asap. I truly hope this is the last of this type of outbreak !!!!!!!!!!
