Menzerna polishes were designed to remove very fine (3000 grit) swirls from the new, super-hard, ceramic clear coats. These are the BASF clear coats being used on the Maybach and 2004-5 Rolls Royce Phantom and PPG's CeramiClear which is being used on the 2005 Mercedes C-Class, they can also be used on conventional clear coats.
On Ceramiclear and other hard clear coats (i.e. Audi, Corvette, BMW, VW, etc) and most other paint systems I would recommend a two level foam pad / polish system to really bring out the paint. Start with PO 106ff and an LC Orange foam pad and follow with white foam.Menzerna polishes will not finish up dry, but will always have a hazy film to them. Work them until the haze changes from the polish colour to almost transparent
Product specific-Menzerna Polishes- are foam pad ‘dependant’ as far as its paint correction abilities are concerned;
Power Gloss (POS 34A) cut 5.0 - gloss 1.5 (Yellow or Orange LC CCS foam pads)
Super Intensive Polish (PO83Q) cut 3.5 – gloss 3.0 (Orange LC CCS foam pads)
Final Polish (PO85U) cut 3.0 - gloss 4.0, a White LC CCS foam pad
Nano Polish (105FF) for light surface marring and / or surface finishing, use wax as a lubricant .cut 2.5 - gloss 5.0 for LSP ready use a White LC CCS foam pad, these polishes can also be used for conventional
Menzerna polishes were designed to work in the controlled temperature / humidity environment of a paint shop finishing line, so be aware that working outside you may have issues like excess humidity, heat, etc that will affect there performance especially with the Nano polish (105FF)
