Hello, Its been a while, but I remember reading something on here about not using a detergent with fabric softener when washing microfiber towels. Is that right? I have searched but cannot find the thread.
I am trying to detail my black Vette, & I'm getting very light swirl marks after removing compound & polish (can only see when sun hits it just right). It looks good when first removing but the more I buff the more the swirls show up. Very light swirls, but it drives me loco.... I'm using used towels that I have washed & I think may have been washed with a detergent with fab softener (I'm guessing thats my problem...).
If that is my problem, can I rewash the towels with a laundry detergent without fab softener added & they be ok, or are they ruined? What soap do you recommend?
Thx
