Mobile van lettering!

Nah not yet. I'm still kinda figuring out where its all gonna go. I need to get a water pump to feed my washer, and I'm waiting for my extractor. Soon, very soon! Lol

Well, I got the big side done. Came out pretty good! I was gonna put the phone number under the slogan. But, the lettering was a little bigger than I thought. So, I put it lower. I'm gonna fill the gap with my website using smaller lettering. Thanks for help, Ed! I appreciate it.

Nice, I never thought there would be a Safari forum, haha.
I am also a member on that forum but only visit it when I have problems or want to improve something on my 95 Safari. There is not nearly the traffic there as there is here but they seem friendly enough at AstroSafari.com

That looks awesome man! Great job and thanks again for that marketing tip you passed on. I will put it too good use.

Thanks again man! It went pretty smooth except for at one point...the lettering stuck dry real quick. I tried to pull it back and it was fighting me. I just kept spraying and pulling back, and I got it back up, ha. I thought the area was wet...apparently I was wrong about that. But, it ended up coming out pretty good! I wanted to fit the phone number up under that slogan... but, it wouldn't have looked good. :xyxthumbs:

Man the damn thing look GOOD... You really did an awesome job with that lettering.:xyxthumbs:

Looks simple and clean. I just do not have enough business to afford a van. Commercial insurance is a killer when it comes to having lettering vs. the use of magnetic signs on your vehicle.

I hear ya. Took me about 4 years to obtain my number of clients. It's no easy task. Especially in New Hampshire, ha. Commercial insurance definitely sucks...but, I'll make it work. I've got 250 brochures to hand out. That should get the ball rolling! :xyxthumbs:

4 Years?? How many solid customers you have?

We've got quite a few dedicated customers. We stay busy doing anywhere from 4-5 vehicles a day spring, summer, and fall 6 days a week. My profile picture is pretty much a typical day at my shop.

I actually took the shop over from the previous owners. But, they did a lot of account work. Lot of dealerships, auction cars, stuff like that. I weeded all those accounts out and replaced them with retail. Retail is where it's at for me :xyxthumbs:

4-5 Vehicles a day as in full detail?? I didnt know you had a shop, so you adding the whole mobile thing now to it.

Hey, the van looks great! Very bold, clean.

I dont think any of the customers' neighbors will care that it's parked in the driveway.

Great design work.

Yes, it's an addition to my shop location. Well, full detail could mean a lot of things, ha. Most my customers would mostly get the "Silver Package"...which is the interior+exterior service. If they want engine, paint sealant, fabric guard, etc...that's Gold Package. But yeah, probably 80% of the vehicles are in and out packages.

I sort of went backwards, ha. Most people start mobile and work their way into a shop. I was the other way around. So, starting mobile for me was just something I had to do. Especially cause I already have so many customers. I can work off my reputation that I already have, and my current customer base. Should go smoothly...(crossing fingers).

The good thing is, even if I don't get busy with mobile this year...it will all be paid for. Ready to roll if I need it. I got a lot of phone calls last year from people requesting mobile...and I couldn't do it. I mean technically, I could have dragged my stuff to them and used their water and electrical. But, I'm not the type to half ass anything. If I'm gonna do it...I'm gonna do it right. So, that's where the van came in.
