Most effective or best value Iron Remover?

I have used iron-x, mckees, nanoskin iron remover and now have a gallon of BDX on the way.

The Mckees works well but doesn't react quite as fast. Iron-x works well. The nanoskin iron remover is horrible.

Have seen good things about the BDX. I will probably go back to the Mckees iron remover once the bdx is gone. Just wanted to try out something different.

So for you the BDX isn't as good as the Mckee's?
He said he has a gallon of BDX on the way, then states he'll probably go back to McKee's. How about giving BDX a chance before you say that?

Unless you've already made up your mind, I'd love to hear your thoughts on BDX after you try it my man

Yea I don't get how you could be over a product before even trying it out..

I use bdx and iron x lemon scent. Iron x is probably stronger but bdx is good value. You can also use adams wheel cleaner on paint too

Are all iron removers literally the same?
•Kind of; sort of.
-They belong to the category of chemical
catalyst-products that help in the removal
of iron contaminants.
-They are not formulated/designed to
remove "regular" grime and dirt.

At least the same active ingredient
at the same concentration?
•No...the active ingredients
are not always the same.
-Some may have:
Thioglycolic acid (bleeders)

-Others may have:
Oxalic acid (usually don't bleed)

I've used most of the fallout removers/dissolvers on the market and my opinion is use the cheapest one per ounce you can find. Also buy in the largest container sold. The Britemax doesn't stink as bad, but I'm still buying the cheapest and that may vary from day to day or sale to sale. Remember AG price matches!

Sorry to revive this but I didnt want to start another thread and this seemed like the most recent. The cheapest gallons I've been looking at are Adam's Iron Remover for $45 and Nanoskin Iron Free for $42. Both come from reputable companies yet cost half of your normal iron/fall out removers. Next cheapest run around $80. I dont use them on paint as often as wheels but when I do use them on paint I use a lot so I dont want to spend ~$20 for 16oz when I get a lot more. Anyone have experience with these? Are they cheap because they are diluted? But even if they are, are they still as effective?
