My wife received a box of about 50 mr clean magic erasers that were mistakenly sent to her place of work, she contacted the sender and they said just keep them, they didnt want the hassle of resending or something, anyway, just wondering if these will come handy somehow in automotive detailing?

They work great for cleaning raised white letters or whitewalls on tires

In extreme cases, they work great on cleaning leather, but I advise for you to try every other method first

PS You could always just send them to me :)

Yes sir. I use them every single day, on every single job. They are great for trouble spots on the interior. I most commonly attack the kick panels, steering wheel, levers, shifter, and all arm rests with them.

In severe cases I'll clean up pretty much every inch of the vinyl and leather with them. But, bear in mind that I don't use the Mr. Clean ones. I buy them in bulk on ebay for much cheaper. The Mr. Clean version may be more aggressive than what I'm used to.

All I know is...I can't be without them anymore. Trust me, you'll learn to love them.

Kris are you buying a generic version of Mr. Clean? I heard good thing about them for cleaning leather seats.

Kris, can u PM the link on ebay?

Kris, me too please?? Thanks. I've never used these magic eraser pads, but Renny Doyle spoke highly of them on his steamer video. Sounds like there are plenty of uses for them.

I have used these things since the day I first found them at Wally World, now I buy them by the case at Costco. They have proven to be an invaluable tool in all aspects of the detailing process!

I've used these on exterior black plastic trim that had turned a shade of grey. Returned the trim to black easily and permanently, versus using a temporary dressing.

Please keep in mind that the Mr Clean Magic Erasers are abrasive will ruin the surface of the material with repeated use. I'd be very careful with them and use them only as a last resort.

they will take off the coating on leather if you rub too hard or too long...

Big Lots had them recentally too. $2 for a box of 4

I always cut my bars into 3rds. Once APC comes in contact with them, they detieriorate

Don't use them on paint ;)

Sure would be nice if you could use them on bugs. But no, I would not recommend using them on paint either

Well now this is intresting....will have to give this a try :xyxthumbs:

I use them to help remove super old redonkulously hard to get off adhesive..... on RV interiors, and on aircraft landing gear.
