Mr. Pink conspiracy theory

I like Mr. Pink (for one); it's very gentle and it's great in my foam gun.

I actually diluted 1:16 for headlight restoration to use as lubrication for 2000/3000 grit- worked like a charm.

I used Maxi Suds II so i am not sure about the old Maxi Suds.
 
Mr. Pink is ok as far as soaps go, works well in foam cannons probably need 3 or 4 oz per 5 gallon bucket. I started using optimum soap and the onr combo which works well. Maxi suds 2 used to be cheaper and is targeted I think towards weekend washer. Yes there are better choices out there and I probably won't buy Mr. Pink again.
 
DANG!! I just got a gallon. I'm gana bust it out as soon as the weather clears up here. Hope it's not bad, I'll cry

I've read good things about it until this thread... So now I have no idea what to do. I want a great foam cannon soap, and one I can use in 2 bucket methods. This and honeydew seemed to be the two front runners.

Works well in a foam cannon, I also use honeydew which I feel is a little better.

Don't get caught up in the marketing. Any car shampoo sold here at AG will be great when used in a foam cannon and 2 bucket wash. The amount of soap used and the settings on the foam cannon are far more important than the soap when creating a thick foam.

With that in mind I prefer DG 901 and optimum car wash.
 
What's the point of having foam cannon soaps? Why not just have one soap that is good no matter how you want to use it?

It's funny we could talked about soaps until the cows come home home, but at the end of the day there is probably only a nickels difference between them all.:buffing:
 
I'm no expert on car soaps but I really like Mr Pink. It suds up really nice when you use it as directed and seems to add some gloss to the paint. Would I buy it again? Probably but there are a lot of soaps I'd like to try

Some people find that magical all in one soap, some people have established their methods and routine to work with one particular soap for 2BM for how it may perform in that respect (lubricity, cleaning ability, suds and their duration, dilution value, ease of rinsing) and some seek a foam cannon soap to work in a completely different way (clinging ability, dwell time, and of course cleaning ability and dilution value).

I enjoy 1Z Exclusiv Gloss in a 2BM, cleans well enough, good lubricity, smells wonderful, and easy to rinse off, it's awful in my foam gun however. CG Honeydew on the other hand clings and dwells like a champ, but is difficult to rinse off.

Could be wrong, could just be speaking on my own behalf, but that's an example of what I've found to be the case typically.
 
Mr. Pink is on my trade list as a want.
 
1. I really like Mr. Pink.

2. I still don`t really care to use a foam cannon.

3. I also have a few different soaps, used for different purposes.

Yep but soaps are a lot cheaper than waxes and sealant plus you can use them.

I have lots of favs: AF Lather, PB SSS, Adams, Honeydew (in foam cannon), Meg's Hyperwash, Blackfire, Pinnacle XMT, Optimum (smell and in foam cannon)

Some soaps, like Honeydew work better in the foam cannon. I also like this because its CHEAP by the gallon, where most soaps are like $12 for 16oz.
 
I have used Mr Pink and I really liked it. If I couldn't have gotten the gallon of DG wash close by OTC I would have gotten it again (I only had the 16 oz)
