Mustang vs challenger

The new mustang looks terrible. The challenger looks mean but I would prob say neither and save for a vette.

I will always love the Mustang.
I'm on my second one already.

Warranty was long gone as soon as I got it.

I guess I am old fashioned lime green does not to it :(

Scat Pak 392 engine :)

I see a green r/t with white stripes down the side everyday. I think its beautiful

Anyone who wants something to AutoX would wanna look at the Fiesta ST and if on a tight budget, the 1.0L Ecoboost Fiesta would also work, just sayin'. Although the Mustang is the most sfelt of the 3, its not really an AutoX car.

.....now back to our regularly sceduled muscle talk;)

Good call. In fact "TheSmokingTire" guys have a Fiesta ST with some light mods. Very capable platform.

I say Mustang, but I am biased:

honestly I do love how the Challenger looks, but I can't get over how heavy they are. Plus the Mustang aftermarket is huge and I love to mod my cars.

Lime is old fashioned. 1970

Sorry don`t remember alot about that time period :)

Things that where old are new again. Trying to get used to the darker wheels on cars nowadays.

Crager, Torque thrust and chrome reverse still get my attention..

Torque-Thrusts are still very popular today, it wasn't that long ago that Mustang's had em from the factory (either the dark center ones or polished ones). I still see em' from time to time on all 3 Pony cars.

I had polished ARE Torque Thrust II's on my 87' GN and they looked awesome!

I'm sure they did. Just don't tell me they were larger than 15 in.

They were 16 x 8's, same size as the GNX and I ran staggered tire size like the GNX too, 245/255's. If I had the car now I would 17's but that's it, 18's would be too low of a profile IMO. Take a look back at the size of the 15's on a G-body, too small IMO. Honestly, I always thought the black 5 spokes from the Corvette GS 1996 would've looked awesome on the GN!

The GNX had 16s ?
In that case I'll allow it.:)
BTW I'm not even slightly fat.

that's cool. i'll have to see if theres a track in pgh

Autox doesn't actually use a track. Most of the time they have them in large parking lots. Sometimes they are at tracks but in the lot. It's really more of a technical style as opposed to any high speeds. They place cones in the lot and you navigate them as quickly as you can.

Any car can participate. I have seen mini vans doing it. I prefer more of the "real" track because I like taking turns a lot faster than you can at autox, but autox is a great way for anybody to get out there and it does teach you car control and how to get the car rotated in small areas, braking, etc..
