My Christmas Scare is finally resolved! After enduring a month of waiting for scheduling tests and finally meeting with the neurologist, I have some great news. My Christmas memory loss incident can now be accurately diagnosed as Transient Global Amnesia. It is uncommon for my age, but nonetheless it is the best diagnosis I could have hoped for. Definitely was not a stroke which was the initial worry. It is also not likely to recur. Thanks so much everyone for their calls, texts, emails and good thoughts in general. I really do appreciate it!!
Here is a link to an explanation on the amnesia:

That is great news!

What a scary thing to go through though!

Scary, yes indeed! Mark, yes, it was by process of elimination that he was able to determine that. Thanks again everyone for your thoughts and prayers!!:dblthumb2:

Great to hear! Did the event make you change certain things in your life (diet, exercises, meditation, supplementation etc...) and if so, was the scare enough to make you permanently adopt the "healthier" living, regardless of the outcome of the testing?

Great news Richy, now go find some good jokes.
