Haha; thanks Swanci!
Okay here's some daytime aftermath.
I lost most of my microfiber towels; but here's a fresh clump of melted-together towels that I haven't even used yet! I literally took them out of the box yesterday;
My Griot's Garage polisher. Think they'll warrantee it? Hehehe.
Cars need a bath...
I actually think I can save that (brand new, unopened) bottle of Griots Garage car wash and get the cars cleaned. I have a wash mitt that was in the washing machine, my buckets and hose are okay. No foam sprayer or anything but that's okay I guess. Better than nothing. Drying is going to be an issue but waterspots are better than ash-spots!
So it looks like I'm out:
Foam cannon (hose-end type, cheapie); can't even find that.
Microfiber towels; most of them. Some didn't burn but are caked in ash and I doubt will ever be useable again
My GG 6" Polisher
Most of my polishes/chemicals, and a few pads. Most of my pads survived though; they were on the top of the shelf and fell clear of the fire.
I can't even find the bottle of DP paint sealant; I think it's part of the big black plastic puddle in my garage. Luckily the Focus has a coating, and the Mustang has a fresh layer of DP paint sealant. It's going to get coated too once I correct it. Was going to do that this weekend. Guess not!
two or three of my small bottles survived, some ONR survived, etc.
So all in all, not bad. Not worth bothering the insurance company. But a huge royal pain nonetheless. Think I'm gonna wash the cars and then dry them with the leaf blower and call it done. No QD spray or microfiber towels to dry with. Oh well; they look terrible right now! I'm probably gonna have to drill a hole in the bottle of GG car wash to get it open! lol!
Also still so annoyed that all these bottles of armor-all junk are laying all over my garage, mocking me. Like "haha, we're all that you've got left!". I dunno why I even keep that crap except to have it on the shelf when relatives come over so I don't feel bad about not using the stuff they get me (Every. single. Christmas.)
