My Garage- Exotic Car Emblem Collection

Been collecting these for a while, decided to hang them in the garage. So far I have Lamborghini, Ferrari, Jaguar, Maserati, Aston Martin, Porsche, Mercedes, BMW & Bentley. The only one I'm still trying to obtain sometime in the future is Rolls Royce, no luck finding yet, you'll notice the placeholder for it in the image. (also maybe Audi which is easy to find).

My goal was NOT to get just authentics, originally I only wanted identical replicas, however, I ended up buying a lot of authentic ones because I couldn't find replicas of certain ones. The Bentley, Maserati, Jaguar, & Aston Martin emblems are authentic parts. The images were taken on different dates, I rearranged some of them since as I just got the lambo emblem yesterday. The Bentley is my favorite emblem, which is yours?

















 
Nice collection.

I bet some of those weren't cheap. I know the original BMW ones are 40 bucks +. A Lambo? I could only guess what you paid.

Ya, definitely correct! The Lambo was about $180, I waited 8 months to find it for that price. Most go for $200-$400.
 
Would look really sweet if your walls were painted or better yet a finished piece of maple (being a light wood it would really make them stand out) Just a suggestion. Cool collection
 
I think an Alfa Romeo emblem would be a nice addition to your already awesome collection too.

FWIW my favourite is the old Citroen emblem, but the brand is not really of the same ilk as Bentley, Merc, Rolls etc, eh.

Yes I agree, The background is hideous! They need some background or plaque. Im moving soon though, so I might do it with the new garage.
 
My favorites are all of the exotics with a 'crest', Porsche, Ferrari, Lamborghini. Always a fan of that sort of style. And while Bentley is a fantastic company; I think their logo is hideous and the disappearing winged-B hood ornament is tacky and ugly, there, I said it! LOL.

You know if I were you I would mount your collection on a finished piece of wood (If you wanted to do something a little 'authentic' you could do some research into a type of wood and finish used on the dash of a particular car in the 'collection', like a Bentley). I think it would look great and then would be a 'one piece' type thing that would be easy to hang and move around.

Everyone forgets that VW made the W12 Phaeton. If you want to drive a nice car find one and drive it. It was very expensive in 05-06 I believe. We have one that comes in our dealer. The guy just did about 8000.00 in repairs. He loves that car.

Saw an '04 Phaeton for sale for around $16k here locally. They can be had fairly cheap for a car of that grade.

People ALSO forget that VW happens to be the parent company/own Audi, Bentley, Lamborghini, and Ducatti. Oh, and the W12 Phaeton isn't the only W Configuration the engineers at Volkswagen have developed. The also have a 16 cylinder, quad turbo variation in one of VW's other exotic brands; Bugatti. (Bigatti is built in France but was a ground-up project by VW Group to build the fastest car in the world; the engineering done by VW. That IS a Volkswagen engine in the Veyron).
