My buffer and goodies arrived today and as long as the weather holds up it appears that Sunday will be the day I detail my mustang. My only question is I turned the buffer to speed 5 and rested it on my hand with a dry pad and it got HOT instantly, it hurt lol Anyways I am a little nervous and don't want to burn my paint. I have watched all of the videos by autogeek and I just want to make sure I'm doing this right. Its not going to burn my paint right?
Only other ? is that I have dual 12" racing stripes (Vinyl) Avoid them at all cost? I have hand waxed them before, Can I orbital buffer them on a low speed?
