My New Home Office

In August it will be 2 years since we moved to our new Condo here in Stuart. We moved for a number of good reasons but one of the key reasons was so I could have a home office. Historically I generate a lot of content at work, but I want to be able to create a lot of content from home. Upon coming to Autogeek in 2009 I was able to set-up my work office the way I needed it to be for maximum content generation.

This includes 28" monitors with one set-up in Portrait Mode for writing long documents like articles and book in Microsoft Word. The Landscape Monitor is for working with pictures.

Then to prevent carpel tunnel, I brought my arm holder uppers with me to Florida, you can see my arms cradled in them. Without these I would be crippled by now. I solidly recommend the Ergo Arm Holders to anyone that types a lot. It will keep you from resting your wrists, the soft part where you nerves travel to you hand, on your desk or keyboard wrist-rest.

So I've duplicated my work office to my new home office with a few upgrades.

Continued....

As of today, this is the first day of our companies employee health safety practice as Meghan outlined here,

COVID-19 Update

The new health safey practices also include some staff working from home unless needed at work. So until this virus works its way through it's natural progression and/or until we have medicine or a vaccine to deal with it, I'm hoping to do most of my content creation from home.

And when I talk about creating content, here's the first content I've created while working from home in my new home office,

Reminds me of the one of Rick Harrison in the Gold and Silver Pawn Shop

It's funnier than heck.

Anytime someone that hasn't been to our house comes over, when they walk by the office it STARTLES them!

They think there's a person lurking in the dark!

It's comical. Funny enough to keep him around.

My uncle had some full size person in cardboard too at his house when I was a kid and even though I knew that was in the bedroom every time I saw it I got startled because you go in not expecting to see "someone" there right past the door. You just forget it's there and next time it happens again.

Nice setups Mike. Smart on the wrist/hand protectors against CT.

I just don't know about that guy looking over you all the time at your home office!!! LOL

Stay healthy/safe...

I honestly can't remember which version it is - but I bought it in 2009. I purchased it after the 2009 Detail Fest at the Jensen Beach Best Buy. To be honest, back then I didn't know or understand how powerful the "iPhone" was as compared to all the other phone options on the market at that time i.e. 2009.

It was a POWERHOUSE.

Of course, most brands have caught up with the technology back then and of course, the technlogy available as I type - the year 2020

I still have this phone, Ill see if it will power-up.

What product did you apply to the phone to protect it at that time, Mike? ;)

I have a friend with whom we run a small business, and we do everything possible to develop it and make it recognizable in the market. Now we have started to recruit employees and decided to create our ideal office. Unfortunately (or fortunately), we spend most of our lives at work, so the office is very important. In fact, it is very comfortable to work when there is no strict office, but just a cozy place for all employees. We learned about the

Spammers just never give up do they?

I’ll get out the Spam Hammer and make this go away.
