My new Z, just in time for storage :(

That's a nice car but you may find the local cops don't like that tint, I hope you have cool cops.

If it's 35% tint like he said, atleast here in KY he would be ok. But that does look quite dark... I like it!:dblthumb2:

Sweet ride! :props:

Hi Shane... thanks buddy. I plan to use the M205 I got from ya ;)

Nice ride congratulations

Thank you much.

Man, I love the new Z's!!!! Congrats!

Thanks! I was very close to getting a used 350Z vert... but decided to go all new instead :)

Why would you put the car in storage? Does it snow every day where you live?
Also the window are kind of dark. How can you see out the window? That is got to be a ticket if not worse waiting to happened.

In any event it is a fine looking car, enjoy it, carefully.

Harv.

Hi Harv. I have to "put it away" for storage because here in Iowa, our roads will be covered in snow any time now. As soon as the first snow fall hits, my car stays in the garage until the first heavy rain fall in spring, to wash away all the salt and grime. My car has not and will not see snow or even rain... I am OCD like that. My previous car, my G35, had 13k miles and was a 2003, and never saw rain at all either ;)

As far as the tint, it has 35% tint. It just looks dark because the interior of the car is black. Knock on wood as to getting tickets. I had the G for a while with the same tint, but no tickets... just depends on the area. I guess if I get pulled over, I live with it... But for me, tint is a must.

Now THAT right there is justification for a higher education. I bet that VQ37 sreams as it's making its way past 7,000 RPM on the tach. Beautiful car.

Thanks Nick. It's still in engine break in period, till 1200 miles, so nothing past 4k rpm for a while :(

So far so good... same with the previous car I had...knock on wood.

Iowa has a 70% rule!!!

Gawd, the 370's look so much beefier than the 350's! I got my ass handed to me by a 350 the other day, man it was quick! I was drivin' a Corolla XRS but just didn't have the Wheaties under the hood, oh well! Maybe another coat or brand of wax ya' thinK! Gawd, I'm so friggin' stupid I can't see straight!

Love the 370. I would have one, but have way too much into my 350 to ever get rid of it. the 370 has every improvement the 350 needed. Nice pickup

Thanks man... yeah, that's the main reason why I picked mine up... they have improved on it sooo much. It was hands down the best buy out of the rest of the lot I was looking at.

Gorgeous Z! Tinting the glass makes it look incredible. I'm in the same boat as you. I ordered an 11 MKX. The weather here has been unseasonably warm in the last few weeks and the factory put a hold on it and stopped it from shipping. It got shipped yesterday just in time for the cold spell coming tomorrow. Bloody Hell! I'm still gonna do it up with IronX soap, a light buff with 85rd and then seal with 2 coats of CQuartz. Just gonna be cold doing the outside stuff, that's all. Go figure, been slow for a month and now I've got 2 jobs lined up as well.

Thanks richy... I agree, the tint is much needed. Finishes off the car. Congrats on the MKX. I love that SUV... esp in white ;)

Beautiful car in white. Congrats!I have a clear bra on my car and use EXPEL on it. It does a nice job on the clear bra. I got a great deal on a Porsche$ 11000 off list otherwise I would have went with the Z. I drive mine until the first snow. My car has never been in the rain or snow. Enjoy the ride and Happy Holidays.

Beautiful car! I love the pearl white with the tint.

At least you have an awesome experience waiting for you next spring.

Nice ride. White is one of my favorite colors on the new Z's. Good investment on the clear bra. If the 370's are anything like the 50's, they get chipped in the front very badly, very quickly.

OK....I'm going to admit that car is one of the best lookin' rides on the highway...You Sir, have excellent tastes....:dblthumb2:

By the way, a nice garage heater is an terrific investment..:props:

Thanks Al... I almost picked up a used Boxster and 911! I decided on the Z, because for new, it was the same price as a used Porsche! I still love porsches tho!

What's Expel? The tinting place said to was like normal then use a sealant or wax on. I plan to use my slickest sealant on it.

Thank you sir. I love you Audis... you at least will have a better time driving your Audi's this winter. I have to drive my 10 year old Civic for that!

:xyxthumbs:

Yea i thought I would go the clear bra route and so far it's been the best decision I have for protectic accessories thus far.

Nice one !!!

Have fun

Thank you kindly!

Thank you for the kind words... yes, I agree. The side profile shape is what really did it for us. Bestbalance of good looks, and performance. Will stand up to any of the cars on the road today

I am thinking of getting a Z for my next car. Which options did you get, and which model is it (i.e. base, touring, touring with sport package)?

Looks great!

Thanks Benjamin... I have the base model only, plust sport package. I also had the illuminated kick plates and splash guards thrown in :) The sport package is a must as it gives you the 245/275 wide 19" wheels and the reknowned Synchro Rev!!! (auto blip at down shift). No need for touring leather/navi etc for me. I had that on my G... didn't really use it. Sports cars are all about the ride itself...

Man, slap that z on a plate with A1 sauce!! yummy! Bad a** car brotha!

Thank Jimmy. If I had your cali weather all year, I'd be trying to bust that myth that white paint can't look wet ;) But alas, has to wait till spring :(
